AoS Berserker May vs. MCU Winter Soldier

• Preparation: None
• Both May and TWS have extensive knowledge about each other; May has gotten her intel through from S.H.I.E.L.D. resources and TWS through the file that Hydra has on May.
• Weapons: May has the Berserker Staff and TWS has a Combat Knife.
• The fight takes place on the same street where TWS hunted Black Widow in the movie.

Winter Soldier's good, but I think he would need more than a knife to take down May with that kind of a boost.

I think WS would work to get the staff away from her. She would try and play whack a mole with his head. It's a tough one, could go either way.

Does Bucky know about the powers of the staff, or no?

If Hydra has it in her file then 'yeah' but since we don't know for sure that they do then 'no'.

I think even in the event that Winter Soldier manages to separate May from the Berserker Staff, she still keeps her superpowers for a short while before they wear off.

It's a tough fight to call, largely because May's one showing with the Berserker Staff was only for a few minutes of screentime. She had enough mental willpower and resolve to stay in control in that short period, but who's to say that extended exposure to the staff wouldn't have made her go berserk. May was obviously quite emotionally/physically exhausted after that debacle. This is a pretty important factor because as we saw with Ward, actual combat skills are seemingly thrown aside in favor of pure rage and super-strength once you go berserk.

Mister Bucky-chan wins.

Care to explain why?

May did put Ward down once fairly easily, which is without any special power, just her normal skills. While WS is leagues above Ward, WS only has his skill, metal arm, and a knife. Full berserker May should put WS down, however it would be with almost maximum difficulty.
