Anti-Monitor (Sinestro Corps Wars):
vs.
Odin (with Destroyer's armor):
Who win?
@thundergodswrath Is SCW Anti-Monitor.
Odin.
SCW Anti-Monitor was a joke.
Anti-Monitor
Scans below:
Here:
@avatar_of_green: Calling the COIE AM at " full power" at a time he hadn't yet absorbed his own universe to boost himself to said level doesn't particularly make sense
Also E1 Supes was stronger and more powerful than E2 Supes at that time
And finally this is before he even puts on his armour , at which point Kryptonians were literally bouncing off him
Also ....you are trying to claim a rock monster animated by the anti monitor is more powerful than someone who shortly after proceeds to absorb his entire universe within himself . So in your frenzied attempt to prove that the Kryptononians were weaker there .....you end up with a showing that shows them getting hurt by beings brought to life by the anti monitor / weaker than the AM ....but overpowering the AM himself
So rock monster > AM in the AM universe ?
Sounds legit .
That aside , Odin wins fairly easily against a dude who was nearly wasted by a single Galaxy busting explosion

@avatar_of_green: 1) Calling the COIE AM at " full power" at a time he hadn't yet absorbed his own universe to boost himself to said level doesn't particularly make sense

2b) And finally this is before he even puts on his armour , at which point Kryptonians were literally bouncing off him

No, no, no.
1) The COIE AM was at base levels, but he was at "full-power" in that he had not been amped, but he had not been harmed, had his armor, was at his home base on his home planet, and had his thugs pinning down his enemies. This isn't "universe+50 heroes amped COIE AM" (who still lost by the way), it's simply Anti-Monitor. Why would we use anything but his base form? Please, enlighten me?
2b) His armor was on, by Supergirl but was destroyed. And you want scans of Kryptonians not bouncing off of him man, really? I have some of them right here.
2b) Those scans were all Supes-2, who was much more powerful during this whole arc and was implied to be more powerful many times. He is older and absorbed more yellow-sun radiation, a common booster for Superman throughout his lore.
3) No, Supergirl went kamikaze and fought to the death, Superman was merely harmed by a rock monster. That scan merely shows that Kryptonians had lower durability there, though not necessarily lower strength. This makes sense, as we later see the anti-matter universe contains anti-matter stars rather than stars in the yellow spectrum.
Some more scans of the AM being crushed in COIE, at his best and at base form.
Here:
Anyways, he clearly is overrated on this forum IMO. He never really did much, even amped beyond all amps.

You're the one trolling my legit arguments, bro.

I'm going to go ahead and highlight this.
@mrmxyzptlk: interesting because i do not believe Jurgen's stance here is well accepted by Marvel writers in general. Matt Fraction, for instance, treated Odin literally like a god. We see Odin rather easily create his own pocket universe after Asgard was destroyed by Thor during Ragnarok. He also rather easily took hold of and manipulated Surtur's powers that were going to burn the nine realms.
Despite the said comments, even under Dan Jurgens we see Thor shown a visage of Odin force which explains it could easily mold planets and stars at his behest.
Moving to more recent stories we see Odin's story written by Jason Aaron where evidently Odin force is powerful enough to hurl people lightyears away physically like nothing. Under him Gorr fighting 3 Thors, when only one of them had Odin force, was causing damage to very reality itself affecting people forward and backward in time.
During tenth realm , which is another story written by Aaron, we see Odin rip out heavem from the world tree and physically push it out of the conventional universe itself and the said realm was shown to have at least 1 complete galaxy. We could probably speculate it might have more.
So the statement from Jurgens does not seem consistent with Odin's potrayal and all of these mentioned are from stories after Jurge left Thor.
Hope this helps.
Cant say i would be a good judge but I think anti monitor is being undersold here. Granted he was not at the same level as he was seen during dawn of time he was pretty powerful. His corpse was going to be used during Infinity Crisis to make 52 universes. He was also later captured by Nekron and it was his powers that fueled the black lantern central battery as well as provide power to every single black lantern in the whole univerise.
It also took a combined attack from a plethora of Guardians, an explosion said to be capable of destroying milky way galaxy and finally Superboy Prime flying through him to stop him. This was because he was never at full power to begin with.
I am unsure to if he could beat Odin but it does appear he is being undersold in this thread.

Don't really know much about anti, but imma say he wins, he seems to be on a higher teir in DC than idin is in Marvel, but dc so inconsistent I may be wrong
@citizensentry: and here I was thinking you were civil insulting someone for disagreeing with your'e opinion and me making a claim in which I have provided thousands of scans for somehow makes me unable to grasp what I claim in my post?should we do a cav then on beyond er v Michael and lucifer then we can rectify who has an idea on what The post. Also your'e agreeing with someone who thinks Michael and lucifer loose to Franklin Richards and I'm the one who has no clue on what he says
@dawnone: You do know that it was the Beyonders who retconned Pre-Retcon Beyonder right?

I posted many scans (post #21) of him losing to people below skyfather level, even amped beyond all imagination during the height of his powers during COIE. He does not have a good track record of on-panel victories in fights.
@citizensentry: no one seems to understand that the beyonders are all more powerful than the pre retconned beyonder from earlier secret wars. They retconned that in. There are thousands of beyonders with that much power

We've seen other Marvel officials say otherwise though. It seems that their isn't a general consensus, even among them.
Remind me to find the scan.
