With the cosmic control rod and current Larfleeze, Annihilus stomps very, very hard. This fight would not be very different from how Annihilus vs Quasar went.

He was only that powerful because he had Ophidian, the entity of greed, trapped inside his Lantern. Krona had Hector Hammond extract Ophidian from Larfleeze's lantern.

@CitizenBane: Wouldn't that mean he had the power of a whole corp+an entity before, and now he's downgraded to a whole corp? (With a Guardian slave) What ever happened to Ophidian anyway?

@vuviper: It was the entity that gave him the power of a whole corps, since he had access to endless amounts of power from it. That's why he could charge his ring to 7000% and stuff like that. Since then, he hasn't been able to do stuff like that. Ophidian was released into the universe after Krona was killed by Hal, hasn't been seen since.

I guess I just never noticed it depowered him then. He still seemed strong in new guardians.
