Animal Man vs Beast Boy

He doesn't need to be nearby anymore. He has access to all animals everywhere in the universe. His connection to the Red is pretty much complete. Beast Boy by comparison is only able to tap into creatures he knows of, indicating he cannot access the Red anywhere near as adeptly.

@dhumraketu: I haven't read the final 4 issues of Animal Man, but in ST 26 as stated that without nearby animals his power is obsolete.

Animal man (funny enough, people confused his power and thought he could shape shift into animals, which is Beast Boy's power) because BB can only turn into animals, Buddy can have their abilities in proportion in the case of animals smaller than him, so, if he absorbed the strenght of a type of beatle that lifts 1100 times his weight, and assuming Buddy to be around 140 kg he could lift 15 tons (almost and a half) plus, he could absorb other animal's abilities at the same time, imagine that plus the speed of a mantis shrimp, that's make that 10 of his punches (which he would assert really fast) are as strong as 1 negaton,so in a 100 punches which he should be able to assert in less than a minute, he'd be punching in nuke levels, no less

@supermanwithatan01: Depending on how you look at BB, the guy can become mythological creatures or anything his mind can come up with, including amalgam different animals together. Or even just having separate body parts of animals.

@wolfrazer: well that’s cool and all but it won’t help much if Buddy can become a sun eater or something ya know? And I was wondering whether Gar had the ability to go as small as something like an Amoeba or a Virus because then he would be virtually unstoppable if he wanted to be but the onl recollection I have of him doing it was the Teen titans show and that’s it.

He can mimic the power of ANY animal on earth, even aliens ones I believe.

No. He can even combine the ''powers'' of multiple animals at the same time. Now, everything that I've said is based on my very rudimentary knowledge on Animal Man. @heirtothekingdom is the expert on this subject.
