Whats does it mean when you say EU anakin
Anakin because Gaara is emotionally crippled and weak willed.

Expanded Universe. Just means you're keeping the stuff not from the movies in mind.

Feats for Gaara?
manipulating sand on a scale that protected his a large portion of his Village from a giant bomb. Making sand tidal waves and such....nothing that Anakin cannot handle with the force

That's a fairly impressive feat. I don't think Anakin could replicate or supersede that with the Force.

he doesn't have to in order to win
@Ancient_0f_Days: I was talking about you saying that Anakin couldn't handle with the Force.

it wasn't an attack, so he wouldn't need to handle it. he could turn most of that sand into glass with the lightsaber and break it with the force. even if Garaa did accumulate that much sand and intended to drop it on Anakin, you don't think he could defend himself from it?
@Ancient_0f_Days: Anakin has no feats to suggest he could remove such torrential volumes of sand with the Force. He could penetrate the defenses, though, because he has fought with the force of a meteor strike:
Skywalker was all over him. The shining blue lightsaber whirled and spat and every overhand chop crashed against Dooku's defense with the unstoppable power of a meteor strike; the Sith Lord spent lavishly of his reserve of the Force merely to meet these attacks without being cut in half, and Skywalker—Skywalker was getting stronger.

That isn't hyperbole?
@Ancient_0f_Days: Not until you give me something to suggest so.

I think if it really was a strong as a meteor strike, the entire place where they were fighting would be blown to hell with each hit.
@UltimateHero0406: Dooku was deflecting the strike, but was buckling.
I can see Gaara winning this, though location is important.

sort of, because it also says 'unstoppable power of a meteor strike'. I don't think meteor strike is unstoppable..
