Anakin Skywalker vs Iron Fist

Standard gear for all characters. EU/movies and comic versions of the characters and both have their standard gear. This is a random encounter but they have basic knowledge of each other. Anakin can use the Force for precognition and the amp himself but not offensively (no force push or choke etc.) Fight is to the death or incapacitation and it takes place in the Jedi Temple. They start 10 yds away from each other. Who wins and why?

Lightsaber is a huge deal here. If IF had a adamantium Weapon to match, I give it to him in a slim majority. as it is, Anakin 9/10.

Iron Fist speed blitzes Skywalker.

Yea..that's not happening. You'd have to believe Anakin is slower than a peak human and disregard his precognition for this to be even remotely possible.

@gokuss4z He's not faster than Anakin period, let alone fast enough to blitz him(which implies Danny can move faster than Anakin can perceive).

The lightsaber is a considerable edge, and lol at IF blitzing Anakin.

@juiceboks: Fine no blitz but what's Anakin's combat speed how durable is he can he take a chi punch from Iron Fist? I'm not familiar with his comic book feats but the movie version would get owned by Iron Fist.

@gokuss4z: Even movie Anakin is pretty durable... sky diving hundreds of feet through the air and catching a skycar without having your arms ripped off is pretty impressive IMO.

I dunno why, but I found that bit just funny with the expressions/gesture.

@wolfrazer: One of the best parts of the prequel trilogy/era is Anakin and Obi-Wan's banter. Anyone who says otherwise is objectively wrong.

@i_like_swords: Are you saying he's more durable than the helicarrier or he he couldn't take a punch from iron fist?

@gokuss4z: I'm saying Iron Fist isn't going to resort to a helicarrier dropping punch right away. Probably only when the fight gets desperate, and then it's a matter of whether or not Iron Fist ends up cut in half before he can do anything like that.

@i_like_swords: Not necessarily, as far as the movie goes Anakin lacks the combat speed the Iron Fist has also it may be possible for him to disarm Anakin up close all Iron Fist needs is a few good hits.

Hell even if it was Movie Anakin, he will precog the attack and counter.

Base on even Movies Force Abilities, he can pull a win lol. That Lightsaber with Precog is just deadly.

Even non EU Anakin can win this fight if given access to his other Force Powers. Kinda hax actually :)

Probably Anakin. He's got that reach with his lightsaber.

I do think Anakin would win, but come on guys, surely you should at least show some combat feats? This is one of the better, more balanced fights, I feel.

Hmm... I think with all these restrictions It's a tough fight but I still side with Anakin in a long tough fight

Two things. The first is the OP stated that Anakin can amp himself NOT use force choke or push so that regulation in itself is going to be a huge factor in this fight whereas Danny essentially has zero power restrictions and if you don't know anything about Danny's full chi abilities you should probably research very very carefully before coming to a final decision about the victor in this fight. The second thing is if we're using all versions of characters that means Immortal Iron Fist (essentially Danny's best possible version) stomps all versions of a power limited Anakin Skywalker with a small exception being made for EU verse versions only because comic feats ALWAYS trump real life feats. I'm not an expert on Star Wars but I don't know if Anakin even did manage to connect with a fully chi powered Danny Rand (watch Iron Fist: Redemption by Comicstorian on youtube) that it'd likely make a difference as we don't know how a lightsaber's energy will react against chi energy. Which is more powerful? In anycase my vote is Danny.
