• Zaheer has his glider; cannot fly

Fight takes place in the 'Arena'

This should be in battles. And amon doesn't have defenses against sparky sparky bewbs..

Based on answers to these, Amon either easily wins or loses badly.

No they can't especially if he completely bends them into submission in contorted positions.

@amonfire1776: Maybe - but that's Amon's problem. He doesn't bend people completely into submission in contorted positions. He bends enough to restrain them, but it is possible to bend through those restraints - like both Korra and Mako did.

@marty2187: Korra was not being bloodbent when she surprised Amon with airbending moreover the Mako lightning was clearly PIS and even then their are not any other examples of someone bending while being blood bent. The lotus gets equalized...

@amonfire1776: Korra was being bloodbent - her arms were being twisted but her legs were free. Which is what she used to kick a blast of air. Same with Mako - he was being bloodbent, but he had just enough movement in his hands to get off a shot of lightening.

Which is my point - it is in-character for Amon to use as little bending as possible, since he happens to hate bending. He'd use just enough bloodbending to restrain them, but he won't twist them up like a pretzel like Yakone tried on Aang. That's a character flaw that ended up being his downfall against Korra and Mako and that's the same thing that would work against him here.

Red Lotus. If Korra was able to overpower it, I am pretty sure they can

The RL can do it. Too many of them with wild cards.

@marty2187: only after he though he took away her bending...for some reason the technique did not work and that will not be a problem here. Also avatars are weird cases when it comes to blood bending so it is unfair to assume they are like the average person anyways...also when has the red lotus ever resisted blood bending?

Red Lotus can't take him by surprise like Korra did. He thought she couldn't bend when she beat him with airbending

@amonfire1776: What technique did not work? Amon's techniques worked just fine - to the extent he cared to use it.

@amendment50: Korra had already hit him with a couple of air-punches before he bloodbent her for a final time. "Element of surprise" doesn't work when he has had time to get used to it. And did he think Mako couldn't bend either?

@marty2187: I mean the abilities if those bring bloodbent...anyways Mako was bent into an advantageous position but ultimately the whole affair was PIS...either way what is the red lotus going to do?

Amon is an extremely powerful bender who hates bending. He considers it to be an impurity to be cleansed. You don't think there is some self-loathing going on there? You don't think he'd prefer not having to use bending at all?

It doesn't surprise me that Amon would want to finish his fights with as little bending as possible. It doesn't surprise me that unlike Yakone or Tarlok, who'd use full body grips to push their opponents to ground or knock them out or twist them up - Amon would simply restrain them just enough. Any bending you can do with what little movement you have would still be possible - and 2 of the Red Lotus members do exactly that.

Not if he is KOed in 1 shot - like with P'Li's combustion blast.

Amon wins. I don't recall Korra resisting his bloodbending, he wasn't bending her when he was beating Makos ass. She surprised him with Airbending and knocked him out of the window. Then he just left..

@supermanwithatan01: You remember incorrectly. Korra fired 1 airbending shot instinctively knocking Amon back. Then she shot 2 more knocking him back even further. Amon started bloodbending her at that point and she used an airbending kick.

Depends if Amon lets his overconfidence lose him the battle.

You know that most of it applies to the second one as well, right? Bumi once beat an earthbender in a rock-throwing contest. He has the trophy to prove it.

@marty2187: No I never took the time to watch the legend of Korra. It looked weird to me and the few episodes I saw never really appealed to me. But yeah I meant the Bumi that knew Aang when he was young and was called King Bumi

I'd say yes - but since they are in-character, that wouldn't be the case.

@marty2187: I haven't watched season. 3 yet but I've heard Zaheer is thepat impressive vilain in Korras series, but Amon has 2 abilities that make him virtually unstoppable if he actually used them openly.

Amon should win, but in character P'li could cheapshot him when his back is turned. Bloodlusted he KOes them all immediately.

If Amon knocks them out from the get to he wins. Otherwise, he isn't beating 2 psychic benders that can one shot him + 2 more at once.

Iirc, female Sparky sparky boom boom doesn't need to move in order to bend. With no knowledge, I can see her being the main factor here as she can one shot Amon

Amon stomps. Prior knowledge and 15 minutes of prep should help the Red Lotus be at peace with their inevitable demise.

P’li solos with curved combustion bending, everyone else dies

This is a unrealistic scenario, if the red lotus had prep they would have Pli in the back far away from Amon

Red Lotus most likely. 20 meters is too far. Korra wasn’t that far away when she broke his grip, and she didn’t use the avatar state to break it. Amon wouldn’t be able to hold all of them in his grip instantly from 20 meters away. The RL’s abilities would keep Amon always having to evade and defend. When P’li gets enough distance away, it’s over. Amon would be in dire straits with lava coming at him, combustion shots, and Zaheer and Ming Hua pressing him all at once. He’s a water bending prodigy and very agile so he wouldn’t go down quickly. P’li just makes it so tough in this situation. The one chance Amon would have is if he can bloodbend someone and move their body to get hit by one of P’li’s shots or submerse them in lava. He probably couldn’t do that easily on Zaheer, but Ming Hua would be susceptible to this trap

Amon. I love the Red Lotus and each individual is extremely powerful, but Amon is a god in this universe. Numbers won't matter (unless it's absurd), even if it's some of the strongest benders in both series.

(P'Li might be able to blow off his finger if she gets enough movement, but I think Amon would then realize the situation and take her bending some other way or be more careful.

If Amon's serious, he utterly stomps.
