I remember Morphius_ clearly addressing the same issue, the only thing we know is its based on Thor powers and that doesnt mean it would not work on anyone apart from thor.

Did it not match Odin Force Thor physically as well? It had its own unique power source. Redirecting Thor's odinforce energy was an aspect of the armor in addition to it's given skill set.

It only "matched" Thor due to the gem in his chest redirecting Thor's power. Without that, it's no matter than Tony's usual suit. That ability will not do anything against Amazo.
