Who wins in this devastating battle?

The X-Ladies take this one... Jean Grey, Rachel Grey, Storm, Rogue, Psylocke among others are more powerful than their male counterpart.

I see a few cool match-ups, but for the most part the X-women have this one in the bag. Unless Iceman flash freezes all of them and Colossus and Wolverine fastball special's them.

Is professor X included? Magneto?

X-WOMEN! they have such powerful fighters! Storm (Goddess of weather), Psylocke (Kick ass Ninja), X-23, Jean Grey, Rachel, and it goes on!

Legion was an X-man.
Magneto was an X-man.
Sunfire was an X-man.
Joseph was an X-man.
X-man was an X-man.
Juggernaut was an X-man.
Cable was an X-man.

Lets also not forget that Gambit without inhibitors is a VERY powerful mutant. When Gambit fought New Sun, he was part of the X-men.

X-men because they have all of the heavy hitters and they have prof X which means this is over before it started

With Phoenix, X-Women. Without, X-Men. Cable, X-Man, and Professor X trump Jean, Rachel, and Emma, IMO. Iceman is one of the most powerful non-psi talents on the team. Vulcan was an X-Man. Magneto/Joseph. Xorn. Northstar. I think the males just have the advantage in numbers and variety/strength of powers.

I think it can go either way.Both have ridiculously powerful reality warpers.

There are more male X-Men so if its every single X-Man and X-Woman then X-Men would win by sheer weight of numbers.

Onslaught was not an X-Man. Scarlet Witch was never an X-Man. White Phoenix of the Crown is not with the X-Men. The women only win this if they have the Phoenix Force on their side.

i say the guys, but what can anyone do to actually physically hurt kitty? she can assassinate each person in reality. if this battle were bloodlusted.

I have to vote for the X-men. Vulcan, X-Man, Legion, and Xavier might be able to deal with the Phoenix force. Rouge isn't invulnerable anymore so Wolerine cuts off her head quickly. Magneto beats the everliving crap out of Storm. Psylocke is gonna be a problem. Dazzler is gonna be a problem. Polaris is gonna be a problem. Or the fight is over before it starts when Forge blasts the x-women with his power nullifying gun thingy, and then all the x-men monkey pile Phoenix. j/k

I still go with the X-Women

Blink can dice half of the x-men and x-villains at once using her teleportation split disc.
Illyana Rasputiin puts a big chunk of the male population to her limbo and they are toast.
Psylocke can overtake strong telepathic assault as she is immune to this attacks. She is the key to defeating the likes of Professor X.

White Phoenix of the crown isn't in this battle. X-man would have a chance, but if he has help from Vulcan(who may be able to absorb some of it's power), Xavier who could very well shut off Jean mind, Legion who is like ten times to Psion Xavier is. Come on, You do the math Longshot steps on the field, and she's done.  

That's crazy talk. Nate wasn't just taken during the Onslaught storyline. Sinister grabbed him from X-Force with some eye boogie thing. Nate is stronger than Jean also. Jean never had the strain of having limitless amounts of psionic energy so to say that is crazy talk. She's never harnessed anywhere near as much psionic energy as Nate Grey. The whole maddie thing has nothing to do with this fight. Jean couldn't even touch Legion ever. Nate is out of her league. And skill is only gonna get her so far in this fight. Jean isn't gonna do anything to him that he hasn't had to deal with before with Stryfe, Holocaust, or even Burning Tiger.  Also his power is not identicle to that of the Jean of his world. He's stronger. far stronger. But alas all that means nothing he's not working alone in this fight. Neither is Jean. My only real question is who said Nate Grey was stronger than Jean???

well lets  see... i'd still say the xmen because if phoenix were fighting them i would say she would stop fighting when proffessor x mind controled one of her allies to attack her leaving enough time for the host of people just as strong to come in and kill her.

Phoenix of the black throne, show me where the 616 Jean was stated to have this white fountain crap. AOA is different then 616. Just look at Psylocke, or the fact that there was characters like Holocaust and Sugar Man who have no counterpart in 616. Show me some 616 feats that prove your statements. That is if you can. Nate wasn't the most stable of characters(sometimes he was a psionic juggernaut, the next he was getting thrashed by Hybrid), but I still don't see the Jean grey of 616 beating him. And the emma crap was just bad writing. if he was about to fight off a psionic assualt from Exodus while suffering from the psionic backlash he was experiencing when he first met Cable(X-Man-14 and Cable-30-31), I think that was horrid writing. Jean has more formal training when it comes down to it. It's not that she's stronger. I seem to recall when she was Nate's age in early X-comics, she couldn't even juggle more than five bowling pins using her tk. Oh, and you're kidding when you talk about Legion right?Don't read Legion Quest,  read Muir Island saga. Besides for Magneto, Longshot, Dazzler, Rachel Grey, and Sunfire, he basically soloed everyone who had been on an x-team from the late seventies and most of the eighties(yes, he was under the influence of the shadow king, but the shadow king doesn't augment to powers of the host he's in). It's not that it was for the story, it's how it is. Do you know what it means for him to be ten times the psionic talent  his father(Xavier) is means? It means the x-women are screwed like a low budget pornstar.
