All of the Pantheon Godlings share one major trait....

The Gods that spawned them....

If all the Pantheons of Earth were to retailiate against their creators, would they be able to survive?

Scenario:

The Godlings of Marvel chose to wage war with their Elders.. All of Earth's Pantheons chose to raise arms against their progenitors.. Now, it this epic war of the divinities, who would stand triumphant?

Only two Elder Gods will be used in this battle: I Will add reinforcements for the Elder Gods only if it is really necessary.

The power of the Earth Pantheon reminds me of the time of the Serpent Crown versus Set. It had a plot device, but they did stand up. The Olypians, Eternals and Asgardians have more power in those three to take on Set with plot device, and then you through in the others. The thing is they did use the Demigurge to kill Set. Can Snowbird turn into the Ravager? All in all, I still think the Elders win. I apply everything to the Vishanti and since Oshtur is related to to Gaeia and Chthon, I think the Pantheons could place a good opening salvo but in the end Elders still win, IMO

I feel like if the various pantheons could work together, they could take this.

@Betatesthighlander1: thats what I initially thought too, but thats when I remembered the Serpent Crown Saga. It took Thor, Dr Strange, Quasar, Demiurge and plot device to take on Set. Demiurge is on Elder gods team eventually right? That is what turned me there.

@boschePG: Yeah, when more elder gods start coming in, The regular gods are eventually going to lose. Thor, Quasar, Thing, and Dr Strange could stand up to set in his own dimension for at least a couple minutes. and Odin was way more powerful than any of those guys.

@Betatesthighlander1: It took a cosmic Cube to beat Set and even then Dr. Strange had to cast a major ritual spell to seal the deal.

yes, well, I think all the Skyfathers collectively have more power than Dr strange circa 1987 or a cosmic cube. Odin has (kind of) takewn on guys like Dormammu, and has annoyed (maybe damaged? a little bit?) beings like the Celestials, who Kubik admitted were levels of power above him.

@7am_Waking_Up_In_The_Morning: Well.. are you sure you posted the right pics for Indian Gods? I don't recognize any except one, and he should be enough to solo. (Ganesh, mythic version)

I could see the pantheon's taking it. But then again the Elder Gods have their fair share of ridiculous feats.

If the cosmic cube is a measuring stick, I'd rate Odin above it.

Hmm. The most scary looking one. Scardy cats don't click! This is what happens when you push your Mom over the limit of patience (lol yes, that's the story. The Goddesses are all kind, Good natured women. But once Parvati/Adishakti decided to go berserk and took the form against a rakhsas, or monster)

Notably, the form is worshipped as it reminds the All Mother doesn't take kindly when her children are threatened. (Well, in the same way you love your Mother for scaring the bullies away)

As of Ratri and Maya, Ratri means night, I am not sure if she counts as a Major Goddess, and Maya, is direct counterpart of Bramha. She does not have any physical form at all.

Now that the major work is done, The first three are Elder Gods themselves anyway, but the concept really isn't a part of Hinduism. (They didn't ascend to the throne by beating some other race like other pantheons.) I think the Pantheon experts Shootingnova/kingkronos will agree on Brahma soloing as well..

Great Topic. I have no opinion on the battle itself though. I just want to follow this.

Not sure if we are to included someone like Mikaboshi in the pantheon list, given his showing of power during Chaos Wars, he would solo and stomp both teams together.

A boost, he earned by defeating and consuming various gods along the way. Its different from say Infinity Gauntle where Thanos got IG and stuff. He was freed, he went on a killing spree, destroying pantheons and gods, one at a time, and in process consuming their power.

A perfectly valid tactic for the thread. Every Elder gods he fights and beats, he becomes stronger.

@Killemall: Well he acquired power by killing them so he didn't have full chaos king abilities at that time so without the power he absorbed from the get go the elder gods would probably kill him pretty much immediately to prevent him from gathering it again
