@nuffs: Not familiar with the first character, what are some of her feats and abilites?

@ostyo: Alita slaps down people who can karate-chop 120 story buildings in half. She can create and control plasma and electromagnetic fields and has speed far in excess of Reentry Speeds. She has a fighting style specifically designed to counter and kill Cyborgs and other machines called Panzer Kunst, which translates as "Armored Art".

Alita can quite literally kill him with a single blow. The slightest graze can allow her to strike him with her most basic and primary attack; Hertza Haeon.

Hertza Haeon ("Heart Strike", also called Hertzer Hauen): One of Alita's most commonly used moves, the Hertza Haeon is a strike that delivers a high-frequency vibration to the victim, bypassing the victim's armour, and concentrating kinetic energy that, when used correctly, can be used to destroy or at least disrupt function of the brain or heart. It can be nullified with a vibration of the same wavelength.

Raiden is grievously out of his league.

In Last Order she got upgrade after upgrade.

@darthaznable: It was technically the same in the Original though no where near the level of absurdity.

Eh. It was a much more believable progression in the original series.
