Rules on this Engagement

• no morals
• completely wiping out the other side's forces
• the ships are equal in speed ( lets say for the sake of this 300mph )
• no in-fighting
• teams work together
• leaders do not par take in the battles they just guide their troops
• standard gear for everyone ( besides the dark elves they don't get those cool nades )
• no mind reading/tk ( if possible and same goes for leaders )
• Both know each other's starting area, but don't know anything else from there.
• No BFR ( if even possible )
• Movies/comics/books feats are allowed

Environment will take place in the city of LA, USA ( the whole city and both start at opposite sides )

Remember if i called u out (unless its the random people ) its cause i've seen u argue for them in a past thread or made a past thread with them involved. If you can please argue for them and give pride to that race of alien ^^

I'm gonna go with team 2

while team 2 has the weakest race in the bunch ( gungans) overall they are much more powerful

the chitari are the weak link on Team 1's side they have the weakest infintry by a large amount to the point where the gungans have a shot at beating them ( their sheilds make the Chitaies guns useless)

the way i see it the anti aircraft fire and the rival air forces even out rougly

the tanks and vehicles go to team 2 due to the super heavy units being simalar and the covanint wraths haveing more than enough power to tiipthe scales and the fast fighters for the cov are way to powerful

Infantry: the meat of this battle goes to team 2 in a stomp

the grunts from Halo can hang with most of the guys in team 1 ( some vairents even better than most) The elites and their sheilds and the Brutes and their gravity hameers the Jackle snipers( which none of team one has a counter part to) and of course the walking tanks the Hunters all add up for massive damage the cov could conceivably solo half of team 1 before running out of ammo and having to switch to smashing them with superior physicals. and thats not includeing the locast and the chimera . Hell the gungans can be useful as cover for the rest of their team and maybe they can scavenge decent weapons from the fallen to be more usefull

Leadership Team 2 hands down

@killerwasp: Well let's see here. I think the only real problem with the umbarans is their ships and that other huge ground vehicle the clones had a problem with. They were getting fairly stomped by clones(on their own turf too) until they resulted to ambushing, surrounding, and the new tech the clones have never even heard of. The covenant is the mvp here. The elites are going to be of big help. They have shields that can resist the blasters and are great warriors. The Locust can probably be one shotted by plasma, seeing as how in in-game cut-scenes they are dying from just 1-3 shots.

"Jackle snipers" <-- there is no jackle snipers at all. ( not that would make a difference, but still ) XD

not too familiar with team 2 but from whatI've seen I think team 2 wwins.

@those_eyes: Any way u could tip the scale for team 1? weapons, gears, etc. Locust use bullets, gungans well balls, chimera hard light, and covenant plasma. Covenant besides the ( Ravagers ) are the only ones with personal shields ( while gungans have to carry them ). Team 2 - Plasma (Chitaies), Energy weapons ( dark elves ), Hard light weapons ( aliens of La ), and of course lasers for the Umbara.

Not too sure on the others, but the Gungans have some pretty big AOE Booma(that's what they are called. :P) which should be effective in taking down enemy tech, considering the bigger ones were destroying AATs like nothing. In fact really, the Gungans were doing well up until their shields went down and the tanks came in.

Here that isn't much of a problem, considering they have allies to help them out. While they aren't as tech savvy as the others, they should be able to cause some big damage with AOE EMP related attacks. Their personal shields should help with deflecting back energy attacks.

All in all, the Gungan army was pretty legit. It wasn't as techy as other SW factions(least until later during TCW where they got blaster tech) but it was pretty capable.

Lol yes the gungans shields would have hilarious deflections by a purely defensive stand point the Gungans can stop a good chunk of team 1

The gungans are here mostly as defensive/artillery army. Their shields probably can stop any energy projectiles and that energy balls damage practically any machine on the battlefield. That makes them more like a support ally than a real army.

Edit: Oh and they can Meesa them to death.

i'm talking about the Dark Elves Black Hole Grenades they pack a punch its enough to destroy any heavies of the team 2 here the link for that

Dark Elves Ship can turn invisible for an all out assault making the team 2 air force weakened to ambushes

Aliens from the battle of LA airships are far more maneuverable than the other teams air support not the fastest but in air its far more useful than the other airs

Chitauri can hang on buildings giving them high place for a fire fight never really much like them.

The only i worry about is the lack of heavies for Team 1

But in air the Team one have the advantage also the positioning true the Locust seeders have those air mines and radio scramblers and covies bugs is also a problem in air but Chitauri and the bugs and go toe to toe bug the Chitauri will lose in maneuverability

Thankfully you didn't put Corpser for the Locust for Emergence Hole making lose their best advantage.

@detrolord: This isn't just one large battle. Given the raw amount of troops, it is quickly going to expand into a true planetary domination campaign. Such campaigns tend to take time and there is no reason the Chimera wouldn't start to create Spires.

Is it, for sure, going to happen? Nah, but it could.

EDIT: Sorry, when I said I liked him, I simply meant to say that I have seen him in a few sci-fi threads, and I enjoy his input. This was just the thread that I decided to post a gif for.

@detrolord: I took black hole nades was in da rules whenever I use them I take them out unless someone has a counter or something just as good cause we need to say is that spam those and win without much of a fight speed for air ships has been equalized to 300 mph just so u know xD but good points I'm glad u believe in team one and those are some very valid points though Ty for putting thought into it like some of the others! ^^

The best army on army ones are the ones that require you to sit down and really think about it, not just latch onto one thing that decides who wins. Stomps are utterly boring.

Team 2 will take a majority. Dark elves are MVP but I don't see them being able to stop the combined might of the Covenant, Chimera, and Locusts.

@eisenfauste: Mhhh ah kk u don't think the umbarans could make a difference with their aoe attacks, and artillery? ( just curious ) cause the umbaran tanks and stuff were basically immune to rockets and such, so it mite even be harder for other artillery to really nail them down. Along with the LA aliens being to provide excellent ambushes and such, anyway just curious, do you think the battle would be close at all?

@killerwasp: Umbarans make it closer but they were immune to rocket's, team 2 packs heat that is more powerful than what the clones attacked them with. Covenant and Locusts have some nice AOE attacks as well. I feel like team 2 would take a majority though.
