yeah, he could tear through most of the locust horde. As for the beserker, Mercer makes people explode when he hits them at the end of the game too. mercer in armor would probably be able to slug it out with a beserker. Whip out that blade arm and i think you have a dead beserker on your hands. They couldnt kill the beserker with fire arms, and they never had a tank on hand when one was around, so we don't know exactly how tough the skin is, but i bet it is no tougher than a tank would be.
 
Mercer should not have too much problems with them. 
 
What i really loved about that game was that the ominous music always seemed to be for you, rather than a warning to you. Here comes Zeus!  HIT THE MUSIC!

Here's how you get rid of an alex mercer
 
Somehow generate enough heat equal to a nuke reduce him into a puddle (assuming he hasn't evolved again to surpass that because remember the way his character was made 'What doesn't kill him makes him stronger, he wont have the same weakness twice') then when he's a puddle hurry up and put a jar over him (Assuming one of those tentacle things dont come out and eat you like they did the bird ROFL) and then put that jar in a freezer FOREVER!

The Locusts' advantages over normal military is tactical.  Simply put they can burrow anywhere and can circumvent most static defenses.  Aside from that, they're pretty much normal military.  Mercer eats normal military for breakfast.

alex can do it... and too be honest every different kind of locusts he consumes will make him stronger and more knowledgeable of the army.. so he has several ways he can win

In comparison to Mercer, no, but in RAAMS personal weight class it's impressive.

The entire Locust horde? He's going against thousands of Brumaks, Corpsers and Reavers. That's a lot of missile fire power, not enough though

Mercer wins.

1-Mercer karate kicks down helicopters.

2-Destroys tanks with his bare hands.

3-Throws cars around the district.

4-Turns humans into paste.

5-Withstands a barrage of bullets coming from more than 60 soldires like. Just to addup to it.current Alex is bullet proof.

This is Alex's Daily job then he grabs a guy.

Takes him to his apartment .

Eats him

Plays with his new PS4 that he got from using the money of a retired old man he consumed.

Then goes to sleep.

Are we forgetting he entire Horde also has lambert controlled creatures, kryll that can devour almost anything, or biological weapons like that big worm. Not that Mercer can't defeat these things, but I don't think he'll stomp.
