New-52 Earth 2 Alan Scott has practically no feats to his name of relevance. Pre-52 clears with ease as he's a planet level reality warper with morals off.

@frozen One shotting some Parademons doesn't mean he can beat anyone on this list.

@dondave: It is an impressive feat nonetheless and I'm pretty sure he can beat Shazam (for now).

New 52 Alan is lucky to get past R1. Pre 52 can probably clear if he gets his full potential of the Starheart near the end of his main story progression (aka Mr. Solos the JSA And Takes On God Level Beings With Green Magic).

The ability to kill fodder is not going to stop Hal from throwing him out of orbit.

I know, Hal has too many feats to his name, I just think the feat was quite impressive as he took them out so easily, not sure where DC is going to write his power-levels from here on.

@frozen It's not really impressive compared to actually powerhouses. There isn't anyone on this list that is only as durable as a Parademon. I could likewise just say that Hal blows up his head like to did to a Sinestro Corpsman.

@dondave: I would say the feat is a start for him, and is more impressive than Shazam's feats so far.

@frozen He's need to get past Hal to reach Billy. And that's not happening.

@dondave: Aside from the fact that the gauntlet seems out of order (Hal being the lowest), if we evaluate each round he can defeat Billy.

@frozen Yes because Billy has far less appearances than he does and therefore little feats.

It's the only round he can win anyway. If we put Billy first he wouldn't get past Round 2.

@dondave: Billy has less appearances? Since when? To my knowledge, Alan has had less appearances than Billy.

On a side note; assuming Alan does appear in Futures End, can he even have power if he's not on Earth 2?

@frozen Billy has less appearances using his powers. He's usually just standing in the corner of a page or in a flashback.

@dondave: That counts as appearances. Black Adam has had less appearances and he had better feats.

@frozen Yes but hose were of him actually using his powers. Most of Billy's appearances have him standing around not doing anything.

@dondave: Yes, that means he has limited showings, not actual appearances. His next appearance is in 10 days, what feats can he actually produce in a single comic? His Earth 3 counterpart looks more formidable and how many appearances has he had? 2?

@frozen Mazhas's only real feat is scaring Ultraman and he obliviously is a weakness to Ultraman hence why he's so scared of him.

However, we're getting off point. Alan beats Billy and that is all. He loses every other round.

@dondave: The entire Syndicate are afraid of him, that's why they reference that he ''nearly ripped the team apart'' and that they want to ''throw him against the thing that destroyed their world'' (which implies serious power). Realistically, it won't be long before Alan gets established at top-tier.

@frozen You'll just have to wait then.

Old Alan could clear even without the starheart, though Majestic or MMH could likely beat him.

New Alan doesn't get past 1.

@frozen: I knew you'd bring this up. As of now we have no idea whether he successful in stopping Earth.

@frozen: what issue is that from ??? I'm only up to 24 and I've not seen it.

@beatboks1: Issue 25, it left on a cliffhanger but I should check the solicitations to see if there are any hints to the next issue. Seems like he's briefly holding The Earth in place (it was in the process of getting sucked away/taken away and then Alan flew up to it).

I thought Alan was supposed to be the top dog in terms of lanterns.

Pre-52 is, New-52 could be depending on what type of feats come next. We've been teased one though.

As for the feat itself, all Alan is doing is resisting the force of Boom Tube rather than actually moving Earth.

Pre 52 clears current stops at 1

@dondave: He was pulling The Earth, that's why they commented he did. He held it's weight against the mommentum.

He didn't pull it, he held it to stop it from moving.

It was being pushed with Boom Tube mommentum, that's akin to tying a rope to the end of a car, having it throttle into full speed and pull back with your strength to the point where your car stops moving, he did ALOT more than pushing back at The Earth's weight.

Someone should just hijack the thread and make it so that it is Pre-52 versions so that this can actually be a thread....so far he gets stomped by everyone besides Billy and Barry.

Earth 2 Green lantern is powerful but Flash is the boss

Why? He succsessfully held The Earth against Boom Tube's mommentum, that's actually a great feat. I don't think even Pre-New 52 Superman had the physical strength to accomplish that by himelf {he needed a lot of help}. IIRC it took Hal and Superman to do the same, they had to work together, Alan did not.

@frozen: So? How does that translate to Hal is somehow weaker than Alan or Alan is somehow strong enough to compete? Hal has survived a sun exploding on him and Flash, he's actually got GOOD combat feats, all he has to do to Alan is BFR him easily.

@ancient_0f_days: That would necessitate he is stronger than Hal if Hal attempted a similar feat but needed help. And when did Hal tank an exploding Star? Did he survive a blast as hot as a Star or literally an exploding Star?

And if you mean Hal BFR Alan, then I do not see how. Alan is just fine in space, if you mean Barry, he could feasibly BFR him into the Speed Force.
