I think with all the "Batman w/ prep" threads and talk people forget that the Punisher is arguably the best prepper in all of Marvel. I say this due to him not having any powers, or unrestricted access to a nation's advanced technologies and resources like T'Challa or Doom do, or being a Reed Richards/Tony Stark engineer type with state of the art workshops and labs. Frank seems to make the most out of conventional tools, weaponry and whatever he is able to get get his hands on in the meanwhile. Considering all of this it is understandable but also a lot of times foolish to immediately discount Frank in a situation where he is pitted against a powered or technologically superior enemy.

Would Frank be capable in defeating Agent Venom? To me it would completely depend on the situation. Since this is 'no prep' then simply you have a well trained, baseline human with convention weaponry against a superhuman with multiple abilities and built in weapons and defenses he can draw on at any time in addition to conventional weaponry. With these stipulations in place this borders on spite.

Now if Frank were given time to prepare and ambush Flash, then I would actually see this as more of a fair fight, even so much as swinging heavily in Frank's favor.

Frank has zero chances under these conditions.

@world_breaker_elmo: Everything you said. Frank got destroyed by Brock when he wore the suit in a random encounter, but Eddie let Frank live, which ultimately led to him being doused with Sonics.
