Coulson wasn't aware of the power of the weapon HE created, which has to say something not only about his intelligence (the fact that he can create something like that and at the same time not knowing how potent it'd be), but of his building capability. Also, there are weapons and gadgets Simmons and Fitz created through the series that have played an integral part of the story, which would give Coulson an advantage over J. Mostly because I don't remember many of the weapons J used. Can someone post them?

What weapons does S.H.I.E.L.D have that come close to the Neuralizer, De-Atomizers and the iconic Noisy Cricket?

SHIELD is whipping out random new weapons every episode, plus they are gathering weapons like the Berserker Staff and Extremis so who know what Coulson has access to, MILB has some impressive guns that blew up a Alien said to have unlimited strength and also is built to be the ultimate survivor plus brain washers that can brain wash anyone, I'm going to say stalemate due to the fact they have weapons that will blow up each other and everyone within at least a 10ft radius

Are those the only weapons J has access to and can use? Coulson has access to and could use the SHIELD Helicarrier as a weapon itself by utilizing all of it's advanced weaponry, including ballistic missiles. So, Coulson has the edge.

If we're talking everything, then J can nuke the helicarrier from orbit or go back in time and kill Coulson's grandfather.

EDIT: Oh, and FYI, the Noisy Cricket could one-shot the helicarrier no problem.

Ok here's something to add, both of them are past their prime, J is in his MIB III age, Coulson is in his Marvel Agent of SHIELD age.

@dark_cloud_: Well J was picked to be an agent because his stamina chasing criminal for like 10 blocks and jump off a build and stuffs, just want them to be similar in physical aspect, I mean it's possible they come down to a fist fight.
