(somehow these are both large pictures)
No prep, morals on, they fight during the day in an open field near a lake.
Round 1
Aang has no avatar state
Round 2
Aang can use avatar state
@blackwind: Morals are on.
I'd favor Aang both rounds due to the sheer potential damage output of firebending (and Earthbending, though Pride could just cut through the stone). However, morals are on, and Aang has gone to ludicrous circumstances to avoid killing, even while in the Avatar state. He's going to hesitate even more due to Pride's form as a child.
If Aang plays it smart and exhibits the necessary brutality, he'll win. If he tries to find an out a la Ozai and Yakone, he very possibly gets skewered and eaten.
Morals on? Pride slaughters Aang. Pride has no morals to begin with. How can Aang counter the shadows? They can't be physically harmed unless you create an amount of light bright enough. Aang's only chance (at least in round one) is to pull what Hoenheim and Al did, and Aang is going to figure that out in time. Round 2 I'm not sure about. If I recall correctly, Azula knocked Aang out even when he was in Avatar state using lightning no? There's nothing to suggest Pride's shadows wouldn't rip him to shreds.

She straight up killed him, though it was a cheap shot.
Can Pride avoid getting frozen solid?
Aang for the majority. He's too nimble for Pride to tag and being able to fly effectively makes Pride's shadows kind of worthless.
Round 1 id give to pride. Morals on and no avatar means aang wont do enough damage to put pride down or know to trap him.
Eound 2 ill give to aang due to damage output of avatar state.

What kind of durability does Pride have?
I apologize for not finding a clip of the whole fight without showing the whole episode but there is the lion homuculus who beats the crap out of pride when his shadows are gone, and he gets up afterwards with barely a scratch and rips the lion homuculus apart. He's quite durable to blunt force and slash attacks.
Aang should win both rounds. With his fire bending, he can create bright enough lights to negate pride's shadows
@knightofzero: tell that to the soldiers of briggs
Pride ftw....one creepy Homunculus
