Aang/Korra vs Aang/Korra (see op restricions)

In this battle, two teams, each with an Aang and a Korra, will do battle

Team 1: Aang and Korra (air and fire bending only)

Team 2: Aang and Korra (earth and water bending only)

Note: all agility feats for both Aang and Korra will apply as though they had airbending

This fight takes place in the Spirit World where Wan fought Vaatu. Time is perpetual twilight. Starting distance is 25 feet.

Why?

I'd have to agree that fire and air win, simply because well 1 aang's an air bender, and 2 honestly as i've stated before korra uses air a decent amount as well, but uses fire more than water. Yes ik water isn't everywhere, but it wouldnt kill u to carry a pouch of water like katara did, and stuff. With that said a majority for team 1 prolly 7-8/10 win.

Yeah, but a pouch of water is hardly going to be particularly useful when you have access to large amounts of earth or unlimited air and fire. When she does have access to large amounts of water she tends to use it more, and effectively

@arcus: That maybe true, but even in other areas she preferred to use the other elements, and heck master doesn't need a ton of water to win either.

@jmarshmallow: Aang as an airbender is ridiculously fast. He is already immensely agile when he isn't using airbending to boost his speed and agility. Aang has took on benders of all type with airbending alone and has done fantastically. Can't say the same for aang's earth bending despite how good it is. Korra is extremely god like with firebending, although her water bending is superior, her firebending has always been more aggressive than her water bending.

She used the other elements in conjunction with waterbending maybe. What advantage would using a small amount of water instead of larger amounts of other elements give?

@arcus: Creativity can go a long way for a natural water bender lol.

Team 1 why because they have better feats when using those elements from what i see. Aang fast, evasive and agile to compliment korra's brashness and raw power as a fire bender.

Yeah, but why make a fight more difficult for yourself?

@arcus: Water can be found in a lot of the places korra fought friends and foes a like. In fact a whole season was in her home field, but she picked other elements over that. Not saying it's bad, but just bleh. Btw what did you think of the last episode of avatar? lol

And she's used water a lot. She's the Avatar, she's supposed to use all the elements

Well considering the budget cuts it's understandable, if not ideal. Bolin and Varrick's part was pretty great though

She's the Avatar, she's supposed to use all the elements"<-- she doesn't have to, aang usually started with air attacks honestly, cause that was his natural bending, im just saying when it comes to water korra lacks the feats per say to display that she has mastered it like what is thought out to be. If our minds matched her bending power that she could do with water she'd stomp a lot of people, but she doesn't for one reason or another.

I'm sure season 3 could of been even better if it was budgeted correctly and stuff. Not saying it was bad, but i feel bad the villains couldn't of been able to display more fighting and stuff.

Also the 4th season could of had more with the villain's background of uniting the earth kingdom, but eh oh well.

team 2 should win. both aang and korra have pretty good earth and water feats, plus they tend to use those kinds of moves more effectively than the other elements (not to say that they dont use air and fire effectively)

plus their agility is equal for both team, so that negates the boost that team 1 would have had with air bending

I don't see how aang's earthbending is as good as his airbending..

Korra has better firebending feats than anything else, even though water is her natural element. And Aang is a much better aurbender

Team 1, korra is badass with fire and aang is a master airbender, while water and earth aang and korra are strong but still below team 1.

As others have stated, korra has a really solid firebending, while Aang is simply a beast with airbending.

Team 1 because those are their most powerful elements. Korra has displayed very powerful fire bending, equal to or even greater than her skill with water bending, and Aang's air bending is his most comfortable and strongest element.

@princearagorn1 im not saying that his earth bending is better than his air bending. but his use of fire is lacking when compared to the other 2 (not to say that his firebending is weak). So you have 2 elements that aang is really good at (earth and water) vs 1 element that he is really good at (air) and one he is ok with (fire).

plus airbending's biggest advantage is the boost in agility/speed that they have. season 1 aang was always light on his feet and able to dodge things easily, mainly due to his air bending. when you give that boost to earth/water aang, it nullifies the primary advantage that an airbender has
