Aang and Korra vs their villains

In this battle, Avatar Aang and Korra's villains have joined forces to eliminate them. Can the two Avatars overcome their opponents?

Team 1: Aang and Korra

Team 2: Azula, Zaheer, Ming Hua, Kuvira

This fight takes place in the courtyard of Zaofu where Lin and Su fought

There's metal, earth, and some water

Korra is in her physical prime. Azula is sane. Zaheer does not have flight

Aang and Zaheer have gliders. Ming Hua has two water arms. Kuvira has her usual armor.

No Avatar State.

Aang and Korra have 5 minutes to tell each other about their villains

All are in character. Victory by ko

Bonus Round:

Zaheer has flight

Villains have 20 minutes prep to strategize

All are bloodlusted

Avatars for the win.

Raw power of Korra and Aangs agility will keep them from losing ground. There's just no way to really over power them or exploit a weakness since they kind of cover each other perfectly when they both have all elements.

Aang's lack of metalbending could always be a problem, or Korra's lack of lightning redirection

Bloodlusted? This is a tough fight as villains basically have no morals. Zaheer and kuvira is enough for korra while azula and ming hua is enough for aang. This is tough.

Azula rarely uses her lightning in fights, so I doubt that will be a problem. If it is, Aang has lightning redirection. Korra will compensate Aang not being able to earth bend.

@gizmorino: bloodlust's only in the second round

R1: the villains may take it has they basically have no morals, or their morals is just to rough up their opponents, while the morals of the avatar is just to put their opponent down by using non-lethal forces.

R2: aang in bloodlust enters A.S so does korra, example of each was against the sand benders who stole appa, and zaheer. So villains lose, without A.S korra bloodlusted with all her element can put azula in coma, her water bendeing can match her firebending as it is aggressive like azula's own, she was doing wel agaist zaheer while she was bounded, so i think she can take him too, aang and ming-hua is about the agility.

Round 1 goes to villains.

azula has consistently given problems or outright beaten aang on her own.

Her and a good fighter take on aang, let's say ming hua.

zaheer ans kuvira are takig on korra IMO

They arw both good enough to make her sweat on her own, and both are going to go for the kill.

bonus round is harder to decide.

A moral-less aang is deadly.

he has consistently shown to be a multi-tonner with air-bending, so it's no asburdity saying that he could shatter bones with air blasts if morals off.

round 1:

im thinking villains should win this. going 2v4 is tough for anyone, and the other team can easily match the avatars. zhaeer and ming hua will be able to keep up with aang in terms of speed/agility and azula/kuvira can keep up with korra in terms of strength and destructive capabilities.

villains should win 8/10

round 2:

this should be a more interesting fight. with 20 min to prep, that could give the villains an edge. plus, zhaeer with fight is much more of a threat as he can dodge attacks easier. though a blood lusted aang would pose a bit of a threat.

tough call, but i think with the 20 min of prep, the villans could come up with a way to tilt the fight in their favor, though it is a much tougher fight for them

I just don't see how korra and aang can possibly win this?

Bonus round is actually quite feasible.

A serious aang would wreck most characters in the series. Its his morals that hold him back so much. Aang is literally the superman of the avatar universe.

@arcus: In round one Aang and Korra will hold back, while the villains won't. Kuvira and Zaheer can at least stalemate Korra while Azula and Ming Hua can take down Aang, and go help K and Z.

In round 2 Aang is the most powerful, but Zaheer and Azula can stalemate him, if only for a while, especially with prep, while the others might take Korra, but it will be extremely close.

Who do you think wins, particularly round 1 with morals on?

In round 1 I am going to easily give it to the villains team. The villains team is bloodlusted and have great showings against the avatars even when their using multiple elements. Another reason i have to give it to the villains team is because without the avatar state the Avatars are master benders of their natural elements and good/great benders of the other elements and i personally dont think that's enough to take down the Power house Villain team.

@arcus: Morals on the team cannot take all of them on. Kuvira was practically korra's equal in the finale, if korra struggled to defeat her in combat, there is no way Zaheer azula and ming being there would make the fight any better for aang and korra.

@deathhero61: to be fair, Korra had already been fighting the mech and fought through Kuvira's soldiers by the time she got to Kuvira, and the environment was more advantageous to Kuvira

@arcus: Korra actually had the advantage, she had fire and air to rely on that she can spawn from nowhere. Kuvira had limited weapons within the mech during their close quarters fight.

No Avatar state I'll go with the villains. Both Avatars have had trouble by themselves against each villain individually. Outnumbered 2 to 1 with no Avatar State I don't think they can take a majority.

In addition, her bending capabilities were limited due to being confined to such a small area. The fight came down to who was better close quarters.I highly about Kuvira would be able to keep up with Korra outside the mech and with access to a decent supply of water.

They did it alone, so I don't see why they couldn't do it with a friend.

@wdc: Aang improved since he fought Azula, and Azula's never faced a bloodlusted Aang. Ming Hua never fought Korra, and Zaheer only ever fought a chained or dying Korra. Kuvira never beat a healthy Korra

Morals on Aang probably loses to any bar Zaheer and whilst Korra can win a 2v1 she isn't wining 3v1.

Round 2 is a different story. Aang beats any pair and Korra does the same.

Bonus Round: The villains can win due to prep(especially with SaS Azula, which would be a very big problem for Korra).

Basically Aang vs Azula and Kuvira (the strongest) and Korra vs Ming Hua and Zaheer. I'd back Korra in her fight, and I think Aang could do some damage to Kuvira and Azula and beat them once Korra arrives to help.

Do they even need prep? IMO, Kuvira or Azula or Ming Hua can all take a majority over Korra and at least hold off Aang in 1v1 fights.

Why is Kuvira stronger than Ming Hua? I'd back Ming Hua over Korra for an 8/10 majority.

Ming Hua doesn't lack any feats, she's a psychic waterbender with combat speed above everyone but Aang with Ty Lee+ level agility and water arms that flash freeze you on the spot. Any attack you throw at her she'll either dodge or absorb and proceed to stomp in octopus form.
She was only beaten by Mako due to plot cirumstances. Everyone would have died against Mako there... It's not hard to roast someone standing on a lake with instant lightning.

• Zaheer is not even on the same tier as Ming Hua.
• Kuvira never required 2 benders to take her down.
• Neither did Azula.

Well it were Katara and Zuko in Azulas case, and that was insane Azula. I think he meant that.

Azula was amped by Sozin's Comet. Sure Zuko can't beat her alone, but under normal circumstances Katara is good enough to match her alone.
