A Tournament of Survival: A Game Like No Other

There are a vast number of universes. We know some of them as the Marvel Universe or the DC Universe or the Star Wars Universe. Now, what if I told you that all of these universes you've come to know and love so much, were all part of a tree of universes. Time to time, we've seen crossovers between these universes because branches of these universes have been temporarily linked in one way or another. But today, the biggest crossover ever is on our hands. Universes have been linked to the trunk of all universes. It''s the most massive crossover known to mankind. Prepare yourself for war, chaos, and most importantly: survival.

You will now see why "A Game Like No Other" is in the title. This is how this tournament is going to work. We need 32 contestants. We can have 16 contestants, but there can be no alliances if that is the case. If we do have 32 people, you may form alliances with one other person. This person has to be within your area though (I'll get to what I mean by that in a bit). However others who don't want alliances may be required to. Hopefully alliances will work out, but I can't guarantee that the structure of the tournament will allow it. So feel free to make an alliance with someone for now, but we might have to ask for more people to join or to just skip alliances all together, or something like that. We'll see how it works out. Also, choose your partner wisely. For example, if you're Batman and if you team up with somebody who's the Joker, it probably won't be the most fruitful of partnerships. Language barriers will exist, bad blood will exist, etc. Each contestant chooses one character and one character only.

You must choose a number from 1 to 32. This number is your fate. Your fate will give you advantages or disadvantages in each round. I have already made the advantages and disadvantages. I do not make them up as I go along. I also assure you that nobody will automatically die by choosing one of these fates. Also please note that I am having you choose your fate. Don't complain about the fate you got because you're the one who chose it. Advantages and disadvantages will be shared with if you have a partner.

Along with defeating your opponent, you must prove to why your character can overcome his/her disadvantage, or how your character can use his/her advantage to win. So this is somewhat a game of luck.

Now the number you choose will also determine where you start out. This is what I was talking about before with partners having to be in your area. It would be unrealistic for 20 to join up with 10. So you can only choose a partner out of the four who are closest to your location. If you have trouble telling which four are closest, ask me. The length of each square represents 5 miles. Also, ignore the vehicle locations on the map.

Character Rules

-This is a Street-Level Tournament. So street-level characters only.

-Nobody with speed or strength above Pre-52 Deathstroke's level (It should be noted that I meant combat speed when I said this).

-No mind powers of any kind (this includes telekinesis or anything like it). If you want a character that has mind powers, but you mainly want that character for his/her skills, that will acceptable (Ex. Psylocke). However he/she will discover that the island neutralizes their mind powers.

-No durability above Pre-52 Deathstroke's (w/ Promethium Body Armor) level.

-No healing factors above Deadpool's level. However keep in mind that people with healing factors are still susceptible to KO, Incapacitation, etc.

-Shape-shifters are allowed but they can't copy powers.

-No Duplication, phasing, power-absorption, power-mimic, tele-dismemberment, tele-drop, teleporting inside of people, soul possession, summoning, or earth manipulation.

-No Midnighter or Prometheus.

-Standard equipment for everybody. The only limits in terms of gear is armor (which was already explained) and explosives. Any explosives with a blast radius over 30 yards will be reduced to 30 yards. There are no other limits to a character's standard equipment.

-Prior knowledge on partners and opponents is dependent on whether they're native to your universe.

-Alternate versions of the same character may be chosen. But the same version of the same character cannot be chosen twice.

-Anime and manga characters are allowed so long as the rules permit them.

-Anybody who somehow managed to get a character that is above the limits, will be reduced to the limits provided in whatever way they surpass the limits.

-If anybody thinks a character chosen is over the limits, please notify me.

-I get the final say on who is in and who is out. Period.

Some of you may have noticed the "Fetts: Boba Fett; number is pending". That is because I will be joining this tournament. However I will be getting the last number available since I already know what fate is in each number. That means there are now 31 spots available.

Co-Host

Since there will hopefully be 32 people in this tournament, that mean's there could be up to 16 matches in Round 1 and 8 matches in Round 2. If that is the case, I might need a temporary co-host to help me make some of the matches. Though I'd like somebody who has experience making a tournament. For example, @esquire@floopay@sovereign91001 or @nickzambuto (?). It'd be much appreciated.

Bullseye #20 . Equipment, 30x shurikens, 15x throwing knives, 50x toothpicks, 5x arrows. Then any stick, rock, etc. on the island.

Erm I will take Blink Age of Apocalypse/Exiles or Avatar Aang, and at number 18 with Avatar Aang being my first choice with a metal bending uniform, no staff, and momo

It said under the "Naiad" page "so she taught Percy how to summon seawater to clean away the dung by throwing fossilized seashells onto the ground by claiming that water used to cover everything and the sea follows Percy wherever he goes". I thought it was kind of like an "Aquaman summoning a tsunami" type of thing.

I don't have any beef with you but I think Aang is a bit too OP.
But if Aang gets accepted I should get Nth armor :)

Aang has high level fire, air, water and earth bending abilities. Plus, he'd be pretty indestructible in Avatar State. He's far above street level.

And I'll ask again, do I need to specify exactly what sort of equipment I'm using???

@fetts: Thanks, what about Achelis Curse ( Which makes him immune to physical attacks only and enhances his fighting skill, but makes him tire quickly ) and The Eagle ( which can shoot a Lightning )

On Aang, well you banned Earth Control, so he couldn't use that. And In the Avatar state he can tare apart islands and raise oceans. So i'd say yes if it was Air only or no Avatar State or Earth bending
