As much as we want Lois to win, the fact is she is in the comics to be rescued, not rescue herself. And one of those Lex Corps guys alone might be a better fighter than her, I'm sure a mastermind like Lex Luthor doesnt let any slouch guard his secrets.
@Baltoro: The definition of goon is hired thug or hoodlum, meaning they most likely lack exceptional martial arts skills. Also, the reason Superman always rescues Lois himself, is because her captors are usually super-powered. I might add Lois Lane is a black belt in at least one martial art.
