4-LOM vs Punisher

4-LOM is attempting to collect a bounty on Punisher.

The fight takes place in an unpopulated New York at night.

4-LOM has standard gear, and Punisher has been given all the same gear as 4-LOM and the training to use it.

@i_like_swords: True, but isn't 4-LOM, like, a robot? I'd expect metal plating to take a blaster bolt a bit better than a Kevlar vest.....

@trickshot: Well, even aside from the fact a blaster bolt would ionize 4-LOM's circuits and leave him lying like a dead battery, Frank is just a better marksman, tactician, fighter.. he has homefield advantage. He should be in good standing to win. Plus I don't know if 4-LOM even has any decent armor to begin with.

And why is it that blasters immediately immobilize all droids? If this is true, why are there any combat droids at all?

I'm looking for the quote in the SW encyclopedia just now, but it basically just fries their systems because of the sheer energy packed into a blaster bolt.

Battle droids can be manufactured in insane numbers. They heavily outnumbered the Clones, so, they had that edge, even if they couldn't survive a single hit.

Punisher. 4-LOM doesn't seem as agile and quick to react as The Punisher.

@i_like_swords: Super Battle Droids were blaster resistant, IG-86 droids were blaster immune/resistant....so....I don't think every droid would be so easy taken out just by a blaster, least not battle droids unless it's the B1 or some other cheaply made battle droid.

That being said....4-LOM...is a protocol droid, hardly designed for combat...at least not 1 on 1 engagements as far as body protection is concerned, his weaponry on the other hand is different. He was often paired with other hired guns or Zuckuss or Rebel Specforces.

Still Punisher should take this considering he has the means to and LOM is more a team person.

I wouldn't say it was an actual flash, but a quick move, lol.
