300 Spartans vs. Spider-Man

@Buster: As far as the scan about Spidey dodging the bullet, Spider-Man has one of the best reaction times in all of comic books. He may not beable to travel the fastest but he is up there when it comes to quickness.

Anyway how is this at all a contest? I see people saying he can be overwhelmed but spidy can jump like FIVE stories, so if he does get surrounded he can easily jump out, or run out, or whatever. Plus he could web ALL 300 of the spartans. He once webbed the ENTIRE side of the daily bugle in seconds, so if spidy wanted he could just sling all of them over a cliff, or web a boulder and fling it around splattering their bodys like gore sacks, or just straight up MASSACRE them!

He dodges AUTOMATIC FIRE all the time so some spears would be like cake. Spidy is just waaaay above the 300.

Even heroes have limits. This is 300 highly trained mooks essentially, but as far as I know Spidey hasn't faced that many organized mooks simultaneously on a battle field. I want one of my fav heroes to win this, but it's a stretch to say that he won't make a single battle altering mistake. Spidey sense gives him a major advantage, but eventually I see him dodging right into some Spartan's field of attack.

Clarification though. If it was the "historical 300" Spidey should be able to win handedly. Just when peeps say 300 and use images from the movie I assume they mean the upgraded time slows down as they slaughter Gerard Butler versions.

300 comic/movie Spartans will eventually get a kill or incapacitation hit on Spidey. It's a desert with some cliffs, not an urban setting so he loses a lot of his height and travel speed advantage. Unless he constantly stays back and slowly webs Spartans a la Scorpion (get over here!) to thin the ranks of the pretty much ranged combat lacking Spartans and plays a long game of trolling attrition he's got no chance.

As it stands though he has a way to victory if he stays out of their range, doesn't run out of webs, and is lucky enough for none of the Spartans to injure him when he pulls them from the group.

And that's assuming they all stay in formation, which is also a stretch. Formation made sense when it was 100,000 or more (or whatever # Persians there were), but against one enemy they'd break ranks and attempt to encircle/trap/overwhelm Spidey.

All I can see is the scene in the second Matrix where Neo is fighting the many many copies of Smith and is owning them until they all Dogpile him. Just when the Spartans dogpile Spidey it will be with many sharp weapons, and he won't be throwing them all off and escaping.

Don't know tbh, like I said though I want the Webhead to win. So I'm gonna say at least 6/10 realities he does, but in a good number of possible realities the Spartans win the day.

Though the real winner is Xerxes who will take credit and destroy democracy, leading to a chain of events where Parker is never born because he killed the vanguards of the free world at a critical point in history (time travel, blech).

He may be a genius, but I think he might need to retake history.

If Spiderman has morals he has to be careful which will be his downfall, then he has to concentrate on not punching too hard and stuffs which might give spartans some lucky shots on him with the spears. And Spidey doesn't have that good protection to sharp pointy objects so i say he goes down.

300 skilled and armed men is beyond Spidey.

Put him in a confined area, like a large UFC arena. An open area gives Spider-Man the opportunity to move around, dodging their attacks and one shotting them. He could still do that in a cage, but they could POTENTIALLY overwhelm him with their numbers. Out in the open, he plucks them off like its nothing

@swiftbullet: what are they skilled marksman with ? Bronze spears that Peter will see coming a mile away in slow motion because of the SPIDER SENSE and crazy agility and speed I mentioned before? Are you saying a Spartan who's just human can throw a spear faster than the bullets he dodges on the regular? Lol. Really?

The Spartans would need bows and arrows to win. Without long range weaponry, they lose as long he has high ground to swing around.

Y'all are overpowering spiderman. He can hear where a gunshot comes from but not so much a spear. He's also been pretty well harmed by pointy objects before. Especially in the movies, live action with the actor who looks wimpy when he does upset. The slartans attack as a single force as well allowing them to protect each other and still get in attacks until they tire him out. He might win but it's not a curbstomp.

Honestly he can just hose them with webbing. Their battle tactic is to form in groups and use their shields. This works great against normal projectile weapons. Spider-man's webbing however uses this tactic against them. They'd be glued together with ease.

Maybe they could saw themselves loose with the swords, also Spidey doesn't have unlimited webbing so he might run out of it.
