Spartans have only their sword/spears and shields and Predators have only their spears/blades. In terms of fighting ability and determination, who wins?

The problem here (one of) is that predator spears and wrist blades cut almost all hard substances on Earth (metal) like butter making shields pretty darn useless........ Predators win....
@D3athstroke: Well Hanzo did have a legendary katana made of layered folded steel...and the shield of a Spartan was made of softer bronze metal to absorb blows and lower the possible recoil damage to the wielder, so I'd say that Hanzo's weapon of choice is more of an exception to the general rule .. and in the original predator 1 and 2 preds alien metal was shown to cut almost anything....

@D3athstroke: Yes, I noticed that....I just like elaborating to see and convince myself that I'm still a sane and functioning member of the human society (besides how many people skedaddle without reading properly?)........ I guess I have to watch "Predators" if for no other reason then because I liked the first movie with the "Governor" ...
That was not a predator katana (why would they make katanas?), it was an ancient japanese sword. The Yakuza guy recognized it.
I do not think a single predator could take 300 spartans. Predators have been beaten in every movie by normal humans, so I don't see why 300 of them couldn't pull it off. But in equal numbers, the predators obviously take it due to far superior physical abilities and technology.
BTW, a shield made entirely of iron would weigh a ton, and the bronze ones were heavy enough as is.
Spartans: Peak physically trained humans with bronze age armor and weapons + Predators: Trained soldiers that are capable of super human physical feats and are equipped with space aged armor and weapons __________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Predators' landslide victory!
