Team Gladiator - War & Ares
- As a god, Ares possesses vast strength and endurance. His physical capabilities are superior to those of the majority of Olympian gods. He has virtually inexhaustible stamina, and does not tire appreciably after any exertion. He can fully recover from penetration wounds (such as by knife, sword, or bullet) in anywhere from minutes to hours, depending on their severity. Ares is the god of war and is a master of a variety of hand-to-hand combat skills. Ares is also a master of all Olympian weaponry and most human weapons ranging from clubs to modern firearms and explosives. Though having normal intellect Ares' military tactical skills are at genius-level, and he is also well versed in torture, combat engineering, and knows vast amount of military history particularly focusing on battles and wars that involved Greek and Roman (or Italian) soldiers and armies. Ares is one of the most talented and ruthless soldiers that has ever fought on Earth. He also has some low-level magic abilities such as summoning weapons or sensing if magic is being used.
- War has the appearance of the legendary Minotaur, giving him super strength, endurance, and reflexes. He is also highly skilled in combat, having competed in the arena. His axe could contaminate with the cold thirst for war, possessing people with the most darkness feelings. Attempts to read his mind can backfire, resulting the reader being overcome by War's sorrow and hate. He was able to piece himself back together after exploding.
Team Samurai - Silver Samurai & Gorgon
- Silver Samurai's mutant ability allows him to generate a field of tachyonic energy around his katana that allows it to cut through almost any material on earth except for adamantium. Although he is able to charge any object and use it as a weapon, he prefers his katana. The Silver Samurai is a master of Kenjutsu, the art of wielding a katana, and is an expert in the art of bushido, a martial arts master specializing in edged weapons, hand to hand combat, and tactics. He usually wears a suit of lightweight steel alloy body armor, modeled after traditional samurai armor, but made of modern protective materials. His physical abilities and skill in martial arts make him a formidable opponents.
- Gorgon is a powerful mutant, with a number of superhuman abilities that allows him to combat (and defeat) skilled assassins, such as Electra and survive multiple attacks from savage mutants like Wolverine. He possesses a healing factor that greatly supplements his fighting style; even while Wolverine was slicing and tearing chunks of flesh from him the Gorgon could still out-move and defeat him handily. He has shown the capability to quickly heal from an RPG exploding at close range and resume fighting to the best of his ability. Shishido's primary mutant ability, is to turn anyone who makes eye contact with him into stone. The Gorgon also possesses a moderate form of telepathy that he uses to read minds and predict movements in battle.

- Both teams are in character, have standard gear and have basic knowledge of their opponents (powers/abilities)
- No battlefield removal or outside help
