@darthdalek: In Theory since Ronan had enough power to bust a planet, he could kill 2014 Godzilla then. There is only so much energy Godzilla could possibly absorb or tank. I'll take Ronan for the majority. 7/10
The Soul Gem destroyed all organic matter on contact, so i will vote for Ronan.
it did that because no organic being could take the power however 4 people could ( the guardians) Godzilla on the outher hand is a hell of alot more powerful then anyone showcased in the MCU and could take that power
With out the planet busting ( the OP ruled it out) the i see Godzilla steping on ronan until ronan dies as ronan dosen't have the strikeing feats for hurting godzilla
