Okay here we have 150 Nanosuit-enabled soldiers a la Crysis 2. If you're not aware, http://crysis.wikia.com/wiki/CryNet_Nanosuit_2. These guys are impervious to nearly everything, can survive almost any type of onslaught, can go invisible for extended periods, have multiple sensors for vision, incredible speed and power (more powerful and far, FAR faster than Spartans from Halo), and probably the best military AI in any modern FPS. We're going by canon feats, not in-game feats. Nanosuit soldiers are immune to EMPs and radiation, and are hard-wired chemicals to numb fear and empathy and increase clarity on the battlefield (effectively bloodlusted from the outset).

All fights take place in the ruined New York of Crysis 2. Soldiers have no weapons but can pick up fallen enemy weapons as well as use random weapons, grenades etc dotted around the cityscape. Ten soldiers will have access to gauss turrets ripped off from trucks.

No Caption Provided

ROUND 1

300 Elite Minors with carbines and plasma pistols. Plasma pistol's shield-reduce doesn't work on nanosuit. 750 Grunts accompany them with plasma pistols. They are airdropped in in vulnerable, open areas of the cityscape with a 5 minutes heads-up on location by SECOND.

ROUND 2

10,000 Spartans (from 300 film). Soldiers have no firearms for this round.

Round 3

5,000 US Navy Seals airdropped in to a vulnerable area with 2 magazines worth of ammo each. One in ten has a faulty weapon that will jam randomly at some point. One in twenty has infrared vision goggles that can pinpoint a cloaked nanosuit wearer but only within 20m. They also have five tanks and one cargo helicopter with a machine gun mount.

Round 4

150 Spartan IVs (Halo). Airdropped just outside the cityscape in shallow coastal water. Only weapon equipped is a magnum. Motion trackers cannot see cloaked nanosuit wearers. Cannot pick up invisibility or extra-armour. Slowly succumbing to Ceph virus losing 1% population every hour at an exponential death rate.

Round 5

(FILM FOR ALL APPLICABLE, OTHERWISE MOST RECENT INCARNATION) Captain America (bloodlusted), Iron Man (Mark 7, cannot fly more than 100m high, cannot see cloaked nanosuit wearers and is vulnerable to external hacking from SECOND), Deathstroke, Spider-man (either Maguire or Amazing Spider-man, your pick), Black Panther, Batman (Dark Knight Returns animated film), Beast (X-men 3), Hawkman (Bloodlusted, Smallville, cannot fly further than 100m high, Nth metal mace disrupts nanosuit and prevents cloak for one min, recharge for 10 sec).

Round 6

Von Paulus and 200,000 of his men, fully equipped but slowly succumbing to the Ceph virus (losing 1% population/day, exponentially increasing daily), march on dilapidated New York. The nanosuit soldiers also have 10 Ceph warships and 10 trucks with gauss attachments, as well as 5,000 Cell soldiers to command how they see fit. The soldiers' only objective is that they have to hold the city for a week.

Round 7

Every bender from the Avatar universe at the time of Korra, including an actualised Avatar Korra bloodlusted and the Fire Ferrets are on top form. Tahno is receiving no help from the referee. They are randomly teleported into the city together whilst the nanosuit soldiers are spread out. Lightning bending short-circuits the suits for one minute, leaving them inoperable for that time (human functions, running, hiding, punching, shooting etc continues as normal).

Round 8

Dumbledore, Voldemort (neither can apparate more than 100m and once every 20 seconds, AK kills upon hit, cannot see cloaked soldiers, cannot imperius because SECOND overruns control, protego cannot withstand gauss and other energy-matter shots, Dumbledore can take one extra hit through Fawkes, Voldemort is flanked by Dolohov and the Carrows). 100 Acromantula, 100 Uruk-hai, 10 mountain trolls (exactly equal in strength 1-1 to a nanosuit wearer), Azog the Defiler, his Warg, and 20 of his orcs on Wargs, the Witch-King and the Nazgul. All randomly appear on the battlefield and none can sense cloaked soldiers unless they are animals (wargs, acro). 100 Ceph alien troops are randomly roaming the cityscape and will attack anyone they come in contact with.

Round 9

Every team-mate ever available in Mass Effect (Garrus is bloodlusted), Sgt Avery Johnson (bloodlusted, spartan laser, black history month), Aya from GLTAS (bloodlusted, hostile to all, succeptible to hacking by SECOND and consequent shutdown if facing more than 10 nanosuit soldiers at once), 50 aliens from District 9 (moderately underfed and tired, armed with standard human AR-15s though one has a lightning rifle which will shutdown a suit on hit for one minute, and destroy someone in a depleted-energy/shutdown suit), Dog the bounty hunter (bloodlusted), Darth Maul, General Greivous, Jedi Revan pre-corruption with no force powers and human longsword in favour of lightsabre. The soldiers' enemies are shipped into a vulnerable position 33% at a time, shipment every 30 minutes, random selection of who ends up with who on whose dropship. If Greivous and Dog end up on the same dropship they both die en-route.

Round 10

Every named character in the Gears of War universe, both protagonists, antagonists, and neutral. Nothing weighing more than one thousand kilos, no beserkers or other 'unkillables'. Aside from the characters from the games, there is a mix of generic locust and gear soldiers numbering 40, five boomers, five kantus, one armoured kantus, every single person/locust has full ammo, perfect weapons, and power weapons where possible, and both factions are working together in perfect harmony. They are supported by 50 Korean nanosuited soldiers (using dodgy Korean nanosuit from C1). All being in advantageous position in cityscape whilst nanosuit soldiers are scattered.

Round 11

2,000 Clone troopers advancing on the city. Must hold city for 24 hours. Clone troopers are led by Ki-Adi Mundi. Nanosuit soldiers have 50,000 Rome: Total War peasants as fodder.

Round 12

Superman (New 52, bloodlusted, just recharged in a yellow sun). Nanosuit soldiers have Marcus Fenix and delta squad, Garrus, Wrex and Shepard, Master Chief and 50 Spartan IVs, Yoda, Dumbledore, Gandalf, Korra and the Gaang, Hitler (bloodlusted) and Holly from Geordie Shore.

No Command and Conquer units? I am disappoint. It'd be fun trying to stop 150 nanosuit soldiers with the bizarre shenanigans that go on in the main C&C settings, with sentient radioactive crystals, islamic angry mobs who reproduce by binary fission, and mind controlled squids big enough to omnomnom Aircraft carriers being only some of the weirdness.

Round 5, 7, and 12 will be the most difficult to overcome.

4 is a tough round, but they clear it barely. They stop at 5.

@ascenscion:

This is kind of wrong off the bat. Nanosuit are suseptible to EMPs, and they aren't any faster than a Halo Spartan.

they wont even make it past the first round, the nanosuit is terribley underpowered, and aside from the stealth capabilities it has nothing on a spartans armor.

Stop at 4 or 5. Some people underrated Spartan IVs badly here.
