The Scenario:

• This came to my mind when I was thinking of immortality and how others look at it.
• Characters known for their ridiculous healing factors, controversy that is centered around immortality, ones that come back from the underworld and those who can`t seem to die are tested.
• Can you think of a thousand creative ways in which they could die by your hands or by fate`s?
• Which team can outlast the other against comicvine?
• And in what way can we now define or redefine the definition of immortality?

Rules/Conditions:

• DC characters are Pre-52
• Marvel characters are Standard 616
• Characters are at their height
• List as many possible scenarios as you can
• With demand more teams can be added
• Suggestions and recommendations are taken into consideration

If this goes well, I will make a thread based on characters surviving in the real world in a team themed scenario with normal human stats based on popular survival/zombie video games.

Example: Team 1 would be placed in Last of Us but as humans with their powers and abilities but they must survive the same way in which certain characters did.

Any real thoughts on immortality and ways they could die?

They do not have to die to lose; so immortality is useless unless the OP states the fight is to the death.

It is actually in the OP and they do lose by death.

@neongamewave: I meant in a general overview when it comes to immortality. Some people always seem to believe that immortal beings are unbeatable and such, I was just trying to saying that's just wrong, and you seemed like you were also on the same boat as me.

Darksiders Death is the literal embodiment of Death. You can't kill him. He even destroyed other immortal concepts, such as Corruption.

Hmm, I'll make a few suggestions:

- Death by reboot (erasing either them or their healing factors from existence in the new official canon)

- Death by toon force (in an animated setting)

- Death by anime-force (because the feats and abilities of characters in an anime setting can be as inconsistent and counter-intuitive as you like)

- Death by Moderator Thread-Locking

I'm afraid I don't quite understand the question.

The question is if you can think of 1000 ways in which these characters can die (you can list as many as you want) and it tests the question of true immortality also it`s a team themed matchup in regards to who are the superior immortals.
