Surfer wins the majority but people underestimate how powerful an angry sun dipped Superman is! He has the combat speed and strength to do a number on the Surfer, but I agree that Surfer is the one character with the power-set which is hard for Superman to counter.

This is an unpopular opinion, but i think Superman has the combat speed and the raw physical strength to win here.

One of the very few things a character should do is go head to head with an angry Superman.

I want to point out that Superman has drained Rampage and Mageddon before. Mageddon is the thing that killed the Old gods. It was a threat of galactic proportions, powered by anti-sunlight. Just throwing that out there.

Surfer's best bet is cosmic awareness to tell him about Kryptonite, and molecular manipulation to synthesize it. Energy blasts and punches aren't going to cut it here.

I just mean that his ability to drain beings of their energy, i.e. potentially drain all the solar energy out of Superman, as he drained the gamma energy out of Hulk.

And next time, use the P word!

SS could drain his energy create a red sun go intangible so hes never touched and he can also mess up clarks powers with a touch he could absorb supermans eadiation and blast it back at him too many ways for the PC to win here

And I don't think that he'd be fast enough nor strong enough to drain Superman. He's not Hulk. He can fly, very fast. And hit hard as hell. A week of sundip + bloodlust means Superman is going to hit with planet shattering blows over and over... and over or just once. The drain (which people have been telling didn't work on Hulk either) won't work nearly as fast enough to win this.

@cosmicallyaware1: My question is how many times we see surfer create a black hole in a head during a fight,superman has overcome feats so massive,his durability is almost incredible limits,strength which we see in general a small proportion of,unleashing his true speed,true strength with no holding back hes a complete monster imo,I'm saying he will or wont win and the posts here are very informative but imo hes getting sold a little short here with the fight conditions.
