Why Batman Counted as a Superhero?

Why Batman counted as a superhero? He don't have any super powers or Special Ability. All i know, Superheroes has some superpowers and special ability, like Superman, he has Freeze Breath, Heat Vision etc. Or Captain America, can lift 500 tons or maybe Thor, he has a Hammer that small but, only god can lift the hammer.

Or there is a characters like Iron Man that only a human with a super stuff, it is his suit. His suit is cool, can tank Thor's Hammer(i guess). So, what can batman do? Flying like a bat? Nope. Has a ultrasonic hearing? Nope. Has a eyes that can see in the night? Nope.

So, please discuss why batman counted as a superhero. I don't hate Batman but, i don't love batman.

batman's superpower is that he never gives up

He's Batman,that's all you need to know.

Criminals never give up. Doesn't make them super

The thing can't even do that. And as weak as he is against a lot of higher tiers he is still a lot stronger than cap.

And batman Isn't called a superhero, that's just the name in general, if we want to be fancy with it then we say vigilante or jackass in a bat suit. This can apply to a lot more street levellers

And why batman is in the DC Comics?

@eliteman737: cause both marvel and DC are universes so not everyone's a hero, some are just a people with agenda. Batman is a dude that fights crime and stuff but he isn't ever properly called the term superhero unless he's with a bunch of superheroes. He is often referred to as a vigilante and makes more money on his own than the company makes with the other books.....combined.....I think

'Cause a normal hero, like a cop a soldier or a firefighter can't do what Batman does.

Because he's not wearing hockey pads.

Why is IronMan counted as a Superhero?

To me "superhero" can be interpreted 2 ways :

1. a hero with superpowers
2. a hero that is super which means way above your average hero.

Batman falls under the 2nd definition.

He is super because :

• he's got great deduction skills
• he's got great fighting and acrobatic skills
• he's got great cars and gadgets
• he's got no fear and great courage (well those quality could be discussed)
• he's hansome and generous as Bruce.
• and I'm sur I'm missing some qualities that makes him super

He is a hero because :

• he fights to try and keep Gotham as safe as possible even putting his life in danger for it.
• as Bruce his generous
• he sweard never to kill or use a fire-arm
• and he's often better than the police who needs his help for the craziest cases.

So here is why Batman can and should be considered as a superhero

You don't need superpowers to be a superhero. Anyone who says different doesnt know what it means to be a superhero.

I mean, seems like you could've easily just looked up the definition for a superhero, as in someone that possesses extraordinary talents, supernatural phenomena, or superhuman powers. Batman then falls under the first for a variety of different reasons.

Why Batman qualifies as a superhero: He's a superhero.

He has a super power that called paranoia.

Because by our real world-standards, he's a superhuman.
