Dick is one of my all time favorite characters, but this is something of an intriguing change that presents possibilities. Handled well, this could make the alternate universe stronger.
Im thinking in the comic, we are seeing Dick Grayson, and then by the time of the game he has been killed and replaced by Damian.
*Side Note* I hate and have always hated Damian Wayne.
Thats obviously not the only Nightwing in the games. The Dick version is shown throughout the promos and is on the official roster. Maybe he's from the future? Damian in the comic is closer to teenageed and I don't know if the timeline takes place over a decade.
I think I heard of this somewhere else but this clearly confirms it. Also, based on Ollie's reaction, I think Damian doesn't exist in the "good" Earth.
Well that's an interesting twist. Maybe not my first choice, but I can see why Damian would go after the Nightwing mantle now that he and Dick are so close... Maybe something happens to Dick that makes Damian choose Superman's side. Who knows? All that really matters to me is that this revelation brings my dream of a having a Batman #666 alt costume in the game that much closer to reality.

Ex moves timing are way stricter, Alpha counters have been added, Stage hazards, lack of footsies, back space to block, and cross ups playing larger role separates injustice from mk9. Injustice seems to be a combination of a capcom fighting game and mortal kombat.

- As far as I'm concerned, it is a MK reskin and you don't determine what is and isn't a reskin for everyone. you have your own opinion, but that's all it is.

@evilvegeta74: It legit he also loses fights against the Joker and the Batman in the story. Losing to the Joker( Joker made a death in the family reference) make me question how he killed Dick.

This isn't his first appearence outside of comics. He was on two episodes of Batman: the Brave and the Bold and I hardly think this snippet of game has ruined him.
So Dick is Blue Nightwing and Damian is Red Nightwing,well I like the idea,killing your mentor and taking his mantle even if its very uncharacteristic of Damian. I'm glad that he's in the game.

I actually hope this becomes a legit. I would like to see this play out in an alternate universe where while Bruce is trained by Ra's he falls in love with Talia and that is when Damien is conceived and she keeps the truth from both of them until he is around 17-20 yrs old and Damien comes to Gotham wanting to prove himself to his father. He can feel like an outsider and Dick brings him under his wing and after time spent together as mentor and protege' Damien kills Dick catching him off guard (cutting his line or something) bc he sees him as an obstacle or becoming Bruces most beloved and true son.

our point is, its not his first appearance in alternate media. it doesn't matter what his history is. an appearence is an appearance regardless of quality.
