So I just watched Son of Batman...

Boy, that was just awful.

Did anyone else feel let down by it? Deathstroke getting trashed by Damian. I mean really?

And what was up with Bruce's voice?

Just, all in all, it seemed... Nonsensical. I didn't feel that Father/Son bond very well. Voice acting was also meh at best.

I watched some clips and skipped it, DS taken down in seconds.... yeah riiiight

The worst part, a female cant rape a man and isnt rape if you like it.

People those are tropes, saddly comic books play with this very often.

I made the mistake to think all of people knew this tropes.

Also Deathstroke being a jobber is getting annoying.

Is a trope, you should go to tv tropes more often, is a double standard in the industry, then they go full insult in your face when they point Batman enjoy it, so even if Talia rape him, the fact he enjoy it, make it ok.

Is on topic, one of the reasons why this movie sucked so hard, is by the fact they forget that Micheal W Barr made very clear Talia and Batman made love, then she had Damien.

Then for some reason Grant Morrison change this, for some reason beyond me.

The movie goes with with Grant Morrison bullcrap, but not with Micheal W Barr original intention.

My point is the movie insult you with the idea a female can not rape a man and make things worst by the fact it tells you Batman enjoy it, so it was ok.

The movie sucks for many reasons, that being one of the main one.

This movie is a huge insult to people by the fact it trivialize rape.

Worst DC movie to date.

It was awful. This and Justice League War made me want to give up on the DCAU movies, but I loved the Flashpoint Paradox so much that I decided to give it one more shot with Assault on Arkham. Thankfully the third time's a charm, because it was really good!

Oh man, that movie was so bad. Damian Wayne beating deathstroke while injured? Did they try to make the movie suck?

They turned a great comic into a bad animated movie.

The only part I could tolerate

2014 has not been a great year for the DCAU.

I've always felt that Batman and Son was the weakest part of Morrison's arc but this movie somehow managed to make the story considerably worse.

Also, Thomas Gibson (of Dharma & Greg fame) gave a terrible performance. Some of the voice actors used in the DCUA have phoned it in before, but his work was just terrible.

It's up there in quality with JL: War. Both of those are utter crap and I hate how they're trying to make their own universe with these films. Considering they built this universe on a bad foundation, I can only see the rest of the DC films set in it to be just as bad.

Yeah, the whole movie was a huge B.S...i like to think that they just wantted to make Damian look impressive...but part of me thinks that they just wantted to make Slade look bad...i mean, by the logic of the movie, Batman >>>>>>>> Nightwing > Damian > Deathstroke > Bronze Tiger...lol.

watching these clips just made realize how much Batman took the backseat in this movie. I mean he was literally just there to be flabbergasted through the whole film.

I enjoyed them aswell! I thought they were awesome to watch and even though the Slade and Damian thing was a little "ehhh" I still enjoyed watching the movie

You really need to chill out, it was a movie, its people like you who take things to heart way to much and go overboard....toughen up!

The first time i wrote it was sarcasm, based on the fact those were tropes, tv tropes point the whole rape thing, also based on the fact that in all the time i have being here, i had talk about the whole double standard on female abusing males being ok.
