Red Hood playable in Arkham Knight

how do you guys like his look?

Well, at least he finally has an actual hood.

Though I have to admit, the first thing to come to my mind was "What the heck is Alex Mercer doing in the Bat-Universe?"

Might as well confirm Arkham Knight as Todd. Jason should be dead in Arkham verse. No reason to make him playable if he isn't alive. Having todd be the AK and giving another version of him playable in a story pack or challenge map is exactly something Arkham Games would do, similar to the red robin skin for robin in Arkham city.

Not sure how I feel about the literal hood instead of a helmet. Little too on the nose and reminds me of Little Red Riding Hood.

@jaken7: Maybe they meant Arkham Knight. Arkham Knight is a new character, there's never been anyone called Arkham knight before. Not sure though. They had Geoff Johns come in (not sure why, there are dozens of other actually good batman writers) to help develop AK so that makes me think it isn't Jason.

But I don't see why they'd make him playable if he's dead.

@jayc1324: No, because they specifically stated he was a new character after being asked about his (Arkham Knight's) identity. The context of the statement doesn't support your speculation. They could be lying but...I'm not sure what they'd have to gain from that. In fact, saying it's a character we'd know would create all sorts of hype from the fans, while still allowing for speculation. So I'm not sure why they'd decide to tell us it's a new character if it isn't.

Well, Jason isn't the original Red Hood either, so there's a precedent there as well. However, it just makes sense to put Jason in this one since Dick and Tim were in the last one.

I wonder how the gunplay is going to work...

Asylum and City are two of the greatest games of all time, and the latter is without a doubt the greatest comic book game ever made.

@darling_luna: Sure, finally being able to actually play as Harley is exciting, but she was a prominent character in both Asylum and City, and was even the main focus of Arkham City's only story DLC. Jason hasn't been in any of the Arkham games until now.

No he didn't use his guns at all he only used a stick or whatever,and it was pretty much a copy and paste robin with some new gadgets.

Atleast his name makes sense now.
