In Nightwing Annual #2, Batman approaches Nightwing telling him that he is taking Tim Drake on a trip saying
I'm taking Tim on a trip. A long one. And I want you to join us...The CRISIS made me face up to a lot of things, Dick. I need to remember why I'm doing this. I think we ALL do. I'm not asking as Batman. And I'd like my FAMILY with me. I need a final decision by Friday.
