What do you guys think? Mr Freeze in a realistic Batman Beyond live action? And if so, should Freeze wear the dome? Or can we come up with something more realistic and cooler?
Hm... Maybe a sort of helmet instead, connected to a large collar connected to the suit, a glass visor over the face? A middle ground between the Batman and Robin Mr. Freeze's helmet and the collar/dome of the comics?
... Which, now that I think on it some more, would be the Arkham City suit.
I'm okay with that.
Mr. Freeze could be an interesting villain for a Batman Beyond movie. The cryogenics and mutation would make more sense in Neo-Gotham. You could give him a personal vendetta against Derek Powers, say Victor Fries was working in the cryogenics lab of Wayne Industries, trying to cure his wife and hundreds of others. When Powers takes over due to Bruce's health, and it becomes Wayne-Powers, he decides to shut down the cryogenics lab, and move Fries to working on cryo weapons. Fries refuses, Powers wants him gone, sabotages his lab, Fries mutates into Mr. Freeze while seemingly dead, Powers seizes Fries's wife as a property of Wayne-Powers.
Mr. Freeze goes off against Powers, Batman Beyond has to step in. It could even be the first movie: Powers actions resulting in Freeze, and the coverup, lead Bruce to calling on Terry again after his 'first night out' with the stolen Batsuit to investigate. Throw Terry straight into the deep end with the dispute between the two, and it could be an interesting test of character for Terry, along with setting up Blight if Powers is caught in the crossfire between Freeze and Batman.
