The classic Batman TV show debuted on January 12, 1966. To celebrate the 50th anniversary of the series, Lego released images for the Lego Batman Classic TV Series Batcave. The set is inspired by the series and contains 2,526 pieces. Along with the Batcave, the set includes a portion of Wayne Manor, the Batpoles, three vehicles, and nine minifigures.
The designers put a lot of detail into the set. If you've watched the show or read the comics, you'll see a lot of familiar areas and items. The portion of Wayne Manor features portraits of Thomas and Martha Wayne, the Batphone, and the William Shakespeare bust that is used to reveal the Batpoles and entrance to the Batcave.
Inside the cave, you'll find Batman's 2-floor lab, Batcomputer, lie detector machine, and other Bat-gadgets. The vehicles include the Batcopter, the Batcycle, and, of course, the Batmobile.

Along with Batman and Robin, the other minifigures include Alfred, Bruce Wayne, Dick Grayson, Joker, Catwoman, Riddler, and Penguin. The figures do come with accessories such as Joker's TNT, Catwoman's whip, Riddler's TNT, and the Penguin's umbrella. Batman and Robin include 3 Batarangs, grappling hook, and handcuffs.
Lego also released a video with the designers describing all the features of the set.
The price for the Batcave set is $269.99 and will be available in March 2016 on Lego.com or in Lego stores.
