Probably easier to continue with the lego franchise already established. I don't recall Lego Batman 1 having many other DC characters that were not Batman characters.

@dagmar_merrill: I know, but the sequel did. It's just a bit disappointing that they feel the need to keep with the Batman title because they think the name Lego DC won't sell.
