So I am trying to get as deep an understanding of the Batworld as possible. However, I am very intimidated by how... fragmented it all is. Told over like 10 different comics with different main characters, it is difficult to know what needs to be read and what does not. So I was wondering how much I would have to read into say Catwoman, Robin V4, Huntress, Azrael etc... to get a full understanding of the workings of the Bat. Thanks!

Read no mans land, the ressurrection of ras al ghul, and if by robin v4 you mean Damian Wayne, read batman and son and batman incorporated. No mans land and the resurrection of ras al ghul both have a bunch of the characters you listed and involves them very much into the plot. No mans land has everyone you listed as well and it's a good read

I have also read all the Ra's al Ghul stuff.
