I have just recently read Batman year one, and that arc tells us that Bruce Wayne is 25 when he first becomes Batman. So how many years have gone by since then? I'm thinking 15 or 20 years have gone by. That would make him between the ages of 40 and 45. What do you others out there think? How old is Bruce Wayne?
@JCJQLB: couldnt be. he became batman at the age of 25. dick grayson became robin when he was 12. dick grayson is like 25 his self now. then jason todd became robin. he was robin for a few years. then tim drake came along. he was robin for a couple years. then stephanie brown. then damian wayne. u do the math
I was thinking more along the lines of being physically 30, and really 40. But they play around with the ages alot in D.C. they made Dick the same age as Babs.

I'd say in his late 30's. He was already in his 20's when he adopted Dick who was 12 when his parents died now Dick is roughly 25 so that is like 13 years
Exactly what Green Skin wrote. I think Grant Morrison summed it up best when this exact question was addressed at San Diego Comic Con. Comic book characters are paper people, they exist in a fictional universe, and they don't age like we do. Batman is 71!
Realisticall, he's about 40. Year 1 says he started at age 25. Unless the new DC52 has changed some things (ie. Bruce graduated high school early at age 16, which would not be a stretch, given that he's the world's greatest detective, and thus would have to be pretty smart). That would then allow him to become Batman at age 23 as opposed to 25. Give him his 4-5 years as a solo hero before taking in Dick, which would take him to about age 27 or 28. Again, would the new DC 52 have increased Dick's age from 12 to say 14 to shrink the age difference between the two? Dick would now be in his early 20's. Between 23-25 realistically. So, if there is a 15 year age gap between the two, Bruce would then be 38 to 40. Jason Todd would be in his early 20's (20/21) and Tim around 18. Damian now is about 10 or so. Bruce did fall into the Lazarus pitt a couple of times, so that probably cut his physical age down a few years into that of a male in his early 30's. DC now can't age Damian into an adult, since that would then push Bruce to at least age 46 to 48. Bruce and Oliver Queen are in similar situations in terms of their age. You like to think of them as 30 year old hero's, but Bruce has been a big brother/father to Dick for about 12 years now, while Ollie has a son in Connor Hawke who is an adult.
Depends on what continuity you are going with and where you begin his timeline...
If Batman Year One is still roughly accurate then Bruce is 25 + 6 or 7 years... or 31 or 32 years old in the DCnU
If you are talking about pre-Flashpoint he's 50ish. and you can literally lay out his entire life and such over the course of those 50 years. And even with that you need to squeeze to get all Batman into that timeline. That's why the DCnU timeline is garbage... you literally can't fit the timeline into those 6 or 7 years.
Post Crisis - Batman started at 25 and ended at 48 years old. The catch however is that he was in lazarus pits twice, and got his back magically healed, so my prediction is that he still remained in a 30 year old body
Post Flashpoint - He's only Batman for 5 years, he can't be that old. we dont have a starting age since year one isn't canon anymore (and before everyone freaks out many elements of it are, but the story itself is not, example essen never existed in post flashpoint). but he cannot be older than 30, so i would personally put him at around 27-28ish in post-flashpoint.
