How can Batman beat Green Lantern?

I was reading JL #1 and then I realized Batman was getting his butt kicked by Green Lantern. Out of boredom I tried to come up with a situation where Batman would win, and couldn't come up with anything. Any ideas? (and the whole yellow immunity thing and JL:Doom plan are inadmissible as evidence)

@korbenheagerty: The answer doesn't lie in the combat aspect, but rather something else. Batman is a master of psychology and other mental manipulation techniques, all he has to do is get under Hal's mind and break his willpower, which would leave him powerless. Of course, Bruce has to survive the combat long enough to do this, but he's proven time and time again that he can. He just has to break Hal's focus, get under his skin, and he wins. After all, he spends his nights tracking down psychopaths like the Joker and Scarecrow and all the others by studying their motives and how their minds work. Hal is a walk in the park compared to them

Like someone mentioned earlier it's all about breaking Hal's willpower. He could always use some sort of variation of Scarecrow's fear toxin on Hal and incorporate several visually impairing devices. According to the comics, Fear is the enemy of Will, and so, if he can somehow have Hal's insecurities overwhelm his will power, he can definitely get the advantage. He can also blind Hal, because in order to reach the ring's true power, Hal needs to actually "see" what he's conjuring. Combine those two tactics, and Batman can have Hal at a real disadvantage, maybe break his focus long enough to seperate him from his ring and maybe place it in a small compartment in his utility belts that may prevent Hal from "willing" his ring back. Also, it is well within Hal's character to be arrogant, and it's something that Bruce can also use to his advantage. And finally, he can also go with the High-Tech Armor option that allows him to give the likes of Superman and Wonder Woman trouble (ex: Justice Buster or H-Bat Armors)

Mainly through manipulation. Get to remove his ring, then go for the attack.

He would need to ruin Hal's confidence. Seduces Carol Farris, spreads nasty rumours about Hal to the GL corps, get him kicked out of the JL, burn down his childhood home, etc.

Hasn't he used strobe lights before to break GL's concentration? Or maybe that was Prometheus, but it left GL unable to focus and incapable of making any constructs.
