Poll Does Batman need more exposure on other comics in DC? (22 votes)

Yes, Batman should appear on every single comic in DC 14%
Yes, Batman still needs more exposure for the relevant comics in DC 0%
No, Batman's current exposure is good enough 59%
No, Batman's current exposure is too much 27%

As of June 2015 that is.

I understand that Batman is DC's greatest Cash Cow. However, DC has been struggling with Marvel, which had their greatest success with the Marvel Cinematic Universe franchise. Even Nolan's highly acclaimed The Dark Knight trilogy, failed to match up with Iron Man (A B-list comic book character) in popularity at the movies.

I feel that if DC needs to match up with Marvel, it would need to rely on its greatest strength - Batman. Perhaps Batman can make an appearance on every single comic - Green Lantern, Green Arrow, Shazam, Superman, where he teams up with these heroes for missions? This would theoretically create more demand for these less popular comics, and help to boost sales and bring them on Marvel's level?

What do you think?

Yes. I think DC is going out of steam, even with Batman as their greatest cash cow. If they can leverage more on Batman, perhaps they can keep up with Marvel?

why? Just asking if its a good strategy whether an appearance by the most popular comic book character on a particular comic can help boost sales

If you can do it for every poor selling comic, maybe it can help to increase sales for DC

Batman isnt Wolverine and he shouldnt be either and the other characters dont need Batman to sell their own comics.
