Stunt Men have to look like the actor, so they can sell the illusion is Affleck.

So if the stuntman looks 50 to 60, Affleck must look a lot like that.

And that way to think, is why action movies suck today.

Actors and stunt guys have to look at least remotly the same, if not they will have to go to weird camera angles and shot all the movie only showing some one back.

They also need to know how to act, not to be great, but just they can sell what is going on.

That is why Arnie and Sly movie are great action movies and today action movies are so lame and pointless.

It was hard to find them stunt men, so they have to do a bunch of their own stunt work, but they change them with others.

Rises was based on Knightfall more than Returns.

Rises wasn't based on it, neither was Beyond, they just to a little inspiration, nothing more.

Ben Affleck is the most perfect looking on screen Bruce Wayne yet. He still has tough shoes to fill from Michael Keaton but Affleck is going to do an awesome job nonetheless.

To be honest...i prefer the stunt double over Affleck. He looks more like an old and seasoned Bruce Wayne whereas the "real" Wayne is just Ben Affleck in a vest.

Why are people saying this looks awesome?

These are just pictures that, at best, are showing the wardrobe from the film.

He kicked ass several times, he even used a super armour to save Terry.

Dude Bane looks a lot like the mutant leader and also he has his speech scene.

Bane was making references to several characters, the jacket was Hush one and he used The Red Hood outfit once.

One or two times don't count, it was Terry under the mask 99% of the time. Doesn't matter how he looks, he didn't behave like the mutant leader.

In the first scan Bane is wearing a coat,that's from Vengeance of Bane 2 which came out in 1995,8 years before Hush. I'm not sure why I'm even bothering,since when did wearing a trench coat equal influence? in the last scan Bane dons his Rises coat,compare that with your Hush pic,they look nothing alike.

The second scan is rather self explanatory,the Blackfire influence only exists to an extent,remember Blackfire was a religious loon and his homeless army was a big part of the Cult story line,in Rises the orphan kids were almost inconsequential.

I still dont get the ML reference,I can just as easily say it was inspired by Lecter or Darth Vader.

I think what we are suffering from is a failure to effectively communicate. The inability of the internet and forum posts to capture intonations is perhaps at the root of this...issue.

What I said was not an "attack" directed at anyone, rather asking why a picture should be considered as awesome relative to another type of picture, similar in nature - using sarcasm to bring my point across. However, being someone of an impulsive nature, you decided to create a Federal Case out of it, and reading your replies have been akin to watching someone fall down the stairs.
