Bruce Wayne in Die Hard(1988)

Would Christian Bale's Bruce Wayne (without his Batsuit) be able to take down Hans Gruber and his terrorists like John Maclane did in Die Hard? If so, how?

I'm gonna say no. But he had no problem taking out SWAT and other goons...granted that was with his suit.
