Batman vs Punisher.Who is the most insane?

They both share some similarities.

A tragedy in the past,they're fanatically trained guys with no powers,they only care about their mission and both know that is an endless war and....they're pretty insane...

Who is the craziest?

Punisher. Batman runs his own company and team, and is a high-functioning adult; almost all of Punisher's time goes exclusively into his war on crime. Granted, a major reason for this is that he is a wanted mass murderer, which makes his opportunities for broad human interaction limited; but whereas Batman has an obsession, Punisher is basically a zealot.

Batman. He is way more damaged. It is because of huge emotional trauma that Bruce has driven himself to become Batman. Everything in his life is dedicated to completing his mission his way. Insane does not mean stupid, in fact insanity is often linked to genius. I think Bruce knows how to manage his insanity... most of the time.

Punisher.

I don't think either of them are insane, at least not in an in-universe sense. They are both very extreme individuals but that's not the same thing as insanity. Their behavior is not irrational, it's not based on imagined stimulus, I don't think either of them could be diagnosed with any particular mental illnesses. They're not even particularly delusional. Both are well aware that their respective wars on evil have no end, they both know there will always be more people to save and more bad guys to stop.

Insane no, obsessed sure. Between the of the two of them I belive that the Punisher is the one most obsessed.
