I was trying to think of ways to get out of Batman: Eternal but now that I'm reminded Steph is a main character I guess I'm doomed to get it.
BATMAN #28 Spoiler
@hushofthewind: i think its suppose to be around the begaining of next year so after forever evil whihc still has two more months i guess about 8 or 9 months if we go by real world time
I really hope that Dick Grayson isn't the one behind the computer, I don't think it is but I'm scared of the thought.....
@youknowwhattodo: Nah, I think it's a girl...wonder who it is
@youknowwhattodo: Nah, I think it's a girl...wonder who it is
I heard it could be Carrie Kelly
@youknowwhattodo: its more likely to be Harper's brother
Heh. When I was little, I would play pretend that I was a batman sidekick with a blue accented suit. I thought of the name Bluejay, not Bluebird, but still.
Never really cared for Spoiler lol to be honest so i'm not really happy or sad.
@imthedamnbatman: Zero Year is resuming in 29. According to Scott Snyder, the issue we've seen in 28 is a huge flash forward, almost a year. IE: In Sept-Oct of this year we'll be seeing the plot set up for what we've just seen.
It's like seeing 5 minutes of the middle of a movie we've never seen before. Now we're being made to wait and watch from the beginning.
I love comics.
Need HELENA BERTINELLI BACK DAMMIT!!!!
I second that statement.
I freaking loved this issue! I think it's an excellent idea and I think it was very well done showing us a glimpse and no more. Not the lead up and no hints to where it's going just a snap shot.
I love that Harper is still kicking ass and I love that she still is not listening to Batman. I am huge Damian/JT fan so I adore the kick ass rebel type. I'm really hoping that the Oracle looking character is actually Carrie Kelley, but it really made me wonder where Alfred was at this moment in time. The Batsgiving teaser had him wearing what looked like a straightjacket so his absence here stood out to me.
Also I'm glad that Harper is Bluebird and not Nightwing which now gives me hope that Dick might have a chance of surviving Forever Evil which is great. I don't know much about Spoiler but everyone seems to love her so I'm excited to meet her soon.
Last thing I loved is Catwoman's attitude. She kind of gave me a Talia-esque vibe which I appreciated. What I love most about her is that you rarely ever know which side she is truly on, I think this is no exception. She was being a real hard ass but then willingly opened the safe when Batman "asked" so I'm not sure how "bad" she really is.
@rejected_stone: Spoiler was part of the batfamily before the new 52 and yes she is awesome. But I agree though this issue was awesome.
Selina having a Talia-vibe is precisly my problem with this
We just got done with one of Batman;'s lovers being the head of a mammoth syndicate, now Selina is being fitted into the role? A role she feels completly out of place in ? Exactly what was the point of killing off Talia just so Selina could take up her pre-heel turn role? Seems like a lazy and all too easy route to go just to create problems between her and Bats in the future. It also feels completly out-of-character for her and that dialouge certaingly wasnt her.
I know everyone loved this issue, but this I'm definitely not feeling. It simply isnt who that character is.
