I loved that it embraced the franchise's Silver Age qualities while still tying them with modern sensibilities.
Also, the theme song was kickass.
One can't consider EMH to be like YJ - they're two polar opposites. The former is a fun romp through Avengers history, with an upbeat tone and bright colors. The latter a more serious exploration of the DC universe.
EMH was the best animated show since Spectacular. Until Loeb killed it.
YJ is garbage. Child soldiers. Wow what a fun idea for a TV show (Rolls eyes)
EMH WTF, i loved it, the character weren't mindless idiots and the had actual substance, and the plots were complex and interesting, which featured great villains and difficulties. and it had great and well timed humor.
Avengers assemble sucks , the characters have no personalities and are just shit.
i don't exactly agree on YJ though, season 2 wasn't great yes but season one was definitely an enjoyable experience.
Problem with YJ was that it had the pretense of being mature but wasn't mature at all.I do agree on season 1 but after the final episode of that season and onwards it went completely downhill,they decided to flood us with an ocean of characters many of whom by the end of the series barely had any dialogue.
I like it, but I think I liked EMH better. I do not like how the Falcon is a rookie it seems like a slap in the face of the character. I also wish that it had more of an ongoing feel rather than just separate stories, I know they intended that but that is one of the things I really liked about EMH.
So far both shows are horrid in my book. The only Marvel show that doesn't make me want to toss the TV out is Hulk Agent of SMASH. It's adequate I admit the lack or even a mention of Bruce Banner is annoying but overall it doesn't follow the comedic tactics of shows like Family guy or ride the coat tails of its movies counterparts of Avengers word for word. Does its use of Skarr and his origin suck, yes. But the show does well.
The last few episodes seem to have a marked improvement in quality, so I'll stick around and see if it grows the beard as us tropers say.
That being said, EMH was the best thing since JL/JLU and deserved a four season 104 episode run.
Wolverine and the X-men and Spectacular spiderman also ended far too early.
Only Iron Man: Armoured adventures really felt like it was allowed to run it's course to the end.
no wolverine and the x-men did not need to continue ...how many times does wolverine slash and kick the guns out of their hands only to have them go and they end picking back up their guns y not just slash them ? just watch the japense amin of x-men or watch wolverine 2011
@martianmanhunterisbetterthancy: I never got why they needed to kill EMH for a show that is viewed less, is lower quality in every way, and just generally pisses on the memory of it's prior show.
@the_undying_tombstone: Because they want to make it more like the MCU. Also I heard somewhere that Loeb doesn't like arcs that carry through a show but self contained episodes.

it was the best depiction of the x-verse,maybe, not the best depiction of wolverine ..1) he couldnt use his claws . 2) wolverine almost like surrenders to a group of dudes with guns ( marty's) , why didnt he just turn them into chop sushi ? even if ( wolverine was not blood lusted and maybe xavier doesnt want wolverine to kill anyone still why did the cartoon make it look like if he was shot with a pistol it would be lights out for him? 3) when he fought the wendigo's he was using a punches and kicks now mind you that wolverine is not even a class one in strength, seriously
