I just want to see Medusa, Lady Thor, Scarlet Witch and Angela in their own book. Now that's a team!
Also love the mystical strength to this team. Want to see Strange and Wanda bump heads.
"Superior Iron Man"? What, is Crimson Dynamo going to switch bodies with him and fight the Mandarin's criminal empire?
Exactly what I thought, and with Vision appearing in Avengers:AOU, I think they are going to start to linking Tony and the Vision closer together in both comics and film, I think by the end of A:AOU Tony will be the human element of Vision instead of Wonder Man which will mean they will do something kinda similar in the comics.
Just a thought.
Why do they keep giving Iron Man new suits ?, I just want him to get back to his red and gold suit, that´s his best armor
So Iron Man is in California now (soon), Daredevil and Kate Bishop just moved out there too. (So did the Punisher.) Maybe it's time to assemble the West Coast Avengers again?
Iron Man desperately needed a new direction, so I'm all for this… but I don't like the new costume -_-
Gillen had some interesting stuff but it was very directionless. Some nice stuff like the Godkiller armor but it reads like Gillen struggled with a direction in the book. Started with Extremis then that got jettisoned. Then tried with re-examining Tony's origins and introducing Arno. Ok, that's fine but then nothing really developed from there at the end of the day. And then we had Malekith which reads a bit like Gillen trying to go into familiar magical territory that he did in Journey into Mystery. The Rings of the Mandarin gaining intelligence was fun but otherwise it felt directionless... like the surprise revelation about Pepper's boyfriend which was added for shock value then... wah? Yeah, directionless in my opinion. Fraction's stuff had much more direction and substance to it. Anyway, looking forward to Taylors run as he is a good writer though I feel that all these shock announcements are more for the shock factor. Will have to wait and see when Avengers NOW! happens before I can better judge it as being good or not.
If Stark is going to be an agressive sumbitch like Superior Spider-Man then they already have my money.
Iron Man went to Apple to get an upgrade!
I know this joke has already been told, but it seems so obvious right now.
Guys, this is going to sound really weird, but if you zoom in on Deathlok's face, he looks like a frog.
I hope everyone rails against marvel the same way they did with the new 52 and changing just for the sake of change
To paraphrase the tagline from the 2003 Duck Dodgers cartoon: If this is Marvel's future, we're history.
@twentyfive: What? You mean products that either kill off or screw over in some other way classic characters that we've all come to know and love? Sorry, none of that crap is finding its way onto my shelves anytime soon.
At least I still have issue 8 of All-New Ghost Rider to look forward to. Unless they plan to have Robbie Reyes kill off Johnny Blaze which, considering what I've seen in the past couple of days, I can't really say is too far-fetched.
So is the fire guy standing next to Captain Falcon Inferno from Inhumans? Because if he is I have 2 issues with that, First. Isn't Dante supposed to be a teenager? In this picture he looks to be the same height as Sam and Deathlok, what's up with that? Second. If this is supposed to be a new Avengers line up why is an inexperienced kid who just got his super powers on the roster? Aren't there more skilled young super people marvel could have called up?
I get the feeling that the Mutants (except Scarlett Witch and quicksilver) are getting pushed back into their dark corner again based on what Bendis has said about the current storyline and where it is going.
I like the risks Marvel is taking and the movies are awesome, but I wish that the movies weren't dictating so much of what takes place in the comics. Then again we have been wanting good comic-based movies for years, and if this is the price, cool.
I'll keep reading because I wanna give it all a shot.
Wait a sec... Angela's encounter Spawn before... so how has she never been to Earth before she came to the Marvel universe?
I'm pumped! I got into comics a year ago n only bought DC. Six months ago I dropped all DC books because I just lost all interest. I started picking up marvel now titles and I've been in comic heaven sin.ce every week I read my new books over and over, I feel like a kid again so I have faith and trust in marvel. I've come to realize how ridiculous hardcore comic fans can be. For some reason they think that their idea and expectations for characters are all that matter. And when marvel doesn't do what they want, the freak and label everything as if it all sucks. You guys need to lighten up and realize that your negativity is is so annoying. The marvel for keeping me entertained every week!!!!
Executives at Image Comics: "Yes! Every time Marvel or DC makes an announcement, our market share increases."
so angela is thors sister , thor is now woman and falcon is captain america
what the hell are you smoking marvel ?!
this, also there's nothing superior about that getup.
Executives at Image Comics: "Yes! Every time Marvel or DC makes an announcement, our market share increases."
Its funny 'cause its true :p
"Like the Superior Spider-Man, Superior Iron Man is a character that’s hard to root for.”
I dont think anyone has rooted for Stark since Civil War,the douchebaggery must be off the charts with this one.

Well they've pushed Valiant down under.

I feel the same way about Snyder's Batman, just directionless overall.
I like this one.
Thor is going to face one hell of a development and I like the new Unworthy Thor version. And the new Thor means that we are going to see more Frigg in the future.
Then we have a Captain America with wings lol I love the idea.
I've never been an IronMan fan but if this means that he's going to have a Superior Spider Man modus operandi then I'm going to like the idea.
Then please Marvel, give Angela a new design.
Finally! Someone that isn't spitting venom at every friggin' change in the status quo.
Not that there aren't valid reasons for a person to dislike some of the changes, but way too many times have I seen people spit venom at every change.
Personally,I encourage it (especially since it's not gonna be permanent). In fact,I think people might follow the trend that they always do:
Hate the news when it's announced, but as the story unfolds and whatnot more people will come to accept it. When Cap died in Civil War,A LOT of people were upset by it (believe it or not),and maybe even more upset that Bucky was taking his place....despite how great that was.
I like the internet. It is a place where people come to complain about products months in advance, without getting to experience it, but when the product is released to the general audience, those very same people come and shower praise on it.
That's what's been going on with Marvel comics for the last year and a half, that I've seen.
You get a follow.
And it's not just "last year and a half",how about last decade or so....
@manneffest: his armor is to millennium looking
@twix_right_side: Haha. Well, I've been following Marvel for I think that long since I was on a comic book hiatus, and that's what I've been seeing of people ever since.
But if this streak of Marvel's has been going on for that long, with this kind of response from the fans, then I have to say, I'm not surprised. Looks like this sort of thing will go on for years to come too.
Scarlet Witch gets more focus ? Count me in! I was worried about the female Thor (mainly because I dodn't understand why she had to be called Thor, it's a name, not a mantle...), but Jason Aaron said Thor Odinson would still be featured in the book, so it's good. The art worries me though. Not really on par with Ribic's. I don't know about Iron Man, might check it out, but the new armor isn't that great. As for Cap Falcon ? Why not. But he should have kept the goattee ^^. And if he actually keeps his wings that's awesome ! :)
Donald Blake disagrees with you...

True. It has been going on for a long time, and this pattern will continue to persist for....well,forever. Even if you're Jonathon Hickman or Warren Ellis writing gold,if you change the status quo slightly, people will flip the f)ck out.

Donald Blake is aspect of Thor, lol. His part. His Earth-self.

yeah, I'm pretty sure that people are going to love some of this stuff when they read it. It's going to be like Superior SpiderMan, a lot of spitting venom and then a lot of people loved the series.

So very true.
I'm just going to let people say "this sucks and is a terrible decision" (you know, before they ever gave it a chance) before it comes, and as these books develop, then the complaining will die down. Whatevs
I don't know about this...but Tom Taylor is writing it...
He seems to be doing well these days.
Yep! Really enjoy his DC stuff.
Nice to see Medusa getting some love from Marvel. This move looks great, especially with WS getting in the action along with getting his own solo book later this year as well.
