Arrange the Avengers teams.

You have been selected to arrange the Avengers teams. How would you do it?

You cant put someone on more than one team, and he/she has to be alive.

The only teams I see the point of being actual Avengers are the main team, the secret team to do things the main team can't (or don't know about), and the street level, of the people team. And I like the Illuminati, but they aren't really the Avengers.

@oldnightcrawler: What about the Avengers Unity Squad?

the Uncanny Avengers? I just think of them as the main team. I lost interest in Hickman's Avengers before Infinity even really started, so to me the team in Uncanny' is the team with the most classic members. I guess that's why I put most of them on my main team.

The theme of them also handling mutant related threats like the current Red Skull, the Apocalypse twins, or Onslaught needn't be the main theme for it to be something that the main team deals with when they need to. It's why I kept Havok on the main team, to have a character who's more related to the X-men/X-factor/Starjammers/Shi'ar side of the MU without having to take a character who's especially central to the X-men.

Although I would like to see Beast around as a supporting member of both teams (as well as a specialist in genetics and a laison to SWORD, both of which it seems like the main team could utilize).

I don't think Scarlet Witch, Wonder-man, or Rogue will stay dead. I can't prove it, but I really feel like they'll all be back later in the series.

I was never a huge fan, myself, but I was really enjoying his latest iteration in Uncanny'.

Part of the reason I doubt he's dead is that it seemed like they were just starting to take him in a new direction. Why bother introducing a new theme with the character just to kill him off, right?

Plus he's one of the most notorious characters for not staying dead.

Because the comic-industry is cheap, and will do anything to get shock-value .

eh, even so, if it was just to be shocking they could have made a bigger deal of it. And why all three of them in one issue?

I really think in this case, even if it is for shock value, it's really more in the service of suspense (since many people who read that are waiting for the other shoe to drop, like, what actually happened). Then again, I thought the same thing about when he killed Archangel.

@oldnightcrawler: Im not the biggest expert on Secret Avengers but the Secret Avengers series i'm reading now is my first (vol.1) and its team is different than the one you posted. Did it change? In Vol.1 the team-leader is Hawkeye and they have a few diff members than you listed, like Ant-Man and the good Venom.

@hammertron: If you want to, and can arrange it so there wont be two on the same team, and none of them are dead, then yes, you can use ALL of them.

the last volume few volumes have had a team that's more of a division of SHIELD than the original incarnation organized by Cap' in the first volome, and it's more that/those teams I was working from.
