For this Character Creation Contest, I would like to propose a theme of technology. Characters like Cyborg from Justice League, where technology is the core of his power or characters like The Borg from Star Trek where technology has gone way wrong. I know this is a broad topic but there are so many possibilities. Cyborgs, robots, Donatello or Whistler from Blade, all based around the technology more than superpowers.
I'd like to wrap this one up at the end of September (9-30-12) at midnight for a deadline.
@Icarusflies Can I get this pinned please? Thanks. The old thread is already unpinned.
Charlene "Thunder" Myer was a highly decorated pilot in the U.S. Air Force both before and during the great Third War. A strong, capable, and fierce woman, she took on danger the moment it read it's ugly head. But alas, she had made enemies not only on the enemies' side, but on her own as well. A scorned superior officer that had wished to "woo" her was also a headman in a coup that was supposed to ensure victory for the seemingly loosing forces of the enemy. As she was getting her plane ready, it was remotely detonated along with scores of other planes as the coup was initiated the morning of the big air strike. The enemy forces advanced and soon took claim of the base, thus drastically changing the pace of the war. Meanwhile, Charlene had only barely survived the explosion, but wouldn't have survived her injuries. But fortunately for her and a few surviving pilots, a searching squad had moved through the complex before the rival forces made entry into their field. The squad had the damaged pilots taken to an emergency mobile-lab, where they were patched back up as much as they could be.
But it wasn't enough for Charlene to be fixed-up. She wanted revenge. She asked that the doctors and mechanics on hand take what was her patched up body and make it a weapon. Most agreed, because most weren't wanting to deal with her angry. With her body newly restored as the ultimate war machine, Charlene Myer can now fly, take more hits, deal out more punishment, and fight any fight with her ever-adaptable "skeleton arm".
Well, it's good to be back, been busy with just starting College and Exam results so haven't had much time for Comic Vine comps, but I had some time earlier today to cook this up. Could add colour later on.
Name- DEADSTEEL
Basically a futuristic Wolverine, designed by the government to hunt mutants in the year 2079, but he went bad and has a taste for human blood!
@ARMIV2: I really like how one hand is human and the other is this really cool robot claw. She looks really good! I can see this design fitting in with the DC Ravagers.
