Amalgam Contest # 50

This amalgam will be for Superboy and Robin, contest ends Sept 7.  You can use any version of Superboy or Robin, I'm not gonna bother posting them all cause the site is giving me issuses with inserting images, I just hope the ones I chose show up.

I wanted to use some characters that hadn't been used in past competition.  I did want to pick some big characters but most were used at one point or another and like Tonis said this is #50.  Hopefully there will be some fun entries considering these are "teenage" characters. 
 
Thanks Tonis, I did have a lot of fun drawing that last one.  I need to fiddle around with my new scanner and learn its functions so I can scan a better image of it.

@EGoD: you got a new scanner, very cool. A new lamp is sure to compliment the awsomeness of your work :)

It's definitely worth the time to fiddle at the beginning till it knows your work as good as you do. If anything snags you up and I can help lemme know, back in my desktop publishing days I used to do a lot of scanner/monitor/printer calibrating. I know how crazy some of the settings can be to get it the way you want.

Yes, sir, I already did my initial painting... just need to adjust the tonal values. Expect. blue, red, yellow and black :-)

those are actually great shades to play with :)

nice job on the mash-up, you really get almost a perfect 50/50 blend of character. Should look great with the colors.

I like the nighttime lighting you went with. It adds some extra depth to the mood. Also like the suit design, it's believable.
